麻薬取締官が管理調査に来る！
販田は薬剤部の皆に厚生労働省の麻薬取締官が医療麻薬の管理調査に今日来ることを告げる。
病院で扱っている医療用麻薬が適切に管理されているかの確認のためだ。
そのため、販田は虹子とともに薬の数を帳簿と照らし合わせるのだが…。
葵みどりは今日もくるみとともに、病棟を回っていた。
入院患者が薬をしっかり飲んでいるか確認するためだ。
右腕の骨折で入院している大宮清の病室に行くと、見舞いに来ていた篠原麻利と口論になっていた。
みどりは2人の口論を止め、大宮に「入院前に何か服用していた薬はありませんか。」と尋ねる。
しかし大宮は知らないと吐き捨て、トイレに行ってしまう。
大宮はトイレで大量に薬を服用していた…。
みどりは麻利に大宮とどのような関係なのか尋ねると「一応父親です」とはぎれの悪い答えが返ってきた。
そんな中、病室の外が騒がしくなり、みどりとくるみがそちらへ行くと、大宮が廊下で意識不明で倒れており、救急処置室へと運ばれることになった。
しかし大宮の容態は重篤に陥ってしまう。
一方刈谷は、山口真央と礼央親子に、礼央くんの薬について説明していた。
真央はネットでその薬のことを調べ副作用を心配するが、刈谷は「ネットの情報に惑わされないでください。」とばっさり切り捨てる。
一方、麻薬管理室では、販田と虹子が薬剤の数を調べていたのだが、フェンタニルの数が足りない事に気づき青ざめる。
大宮の処置中、大宮は何か薬を隠れて服用していたのでは、と考えたみどりと瀬野が麻利に大宮について何か知っていることはないかと麻利に聞くのだが、なんと先日20年ぶりに会ったのだと言う。
大宮は麻利が幼い頃に事業に失敗して失踪してしまっていたのだという。
麻利が大宮に結婚式に出て欲しいと言うと、「もうお前には会いたくない。帰れ」の一点張りだったのだという。
麻利は大宮が飲んでいた薬については知らないが、家に行けば何か分かるかもと告げ、みどりは麻利とともに自宅へ行こうとする。
その許可を販田に取ろうとするのだが、フェンタニルの数が足りないことでてんやわんやしていたため当然許可は下りなかった。
しかし瀬野がなんとかすると言ってくれたので、みどりは麻利とともに大宮の自宅へと急ぐ。
フェンタニルは荒神が帳簿に書き忘れたのだった！
フェンタニルの数が足りない件は、荒神が持ちだし、帳簿に書き忘れたことが分かった。
他の科の教授に頼まれて渡したのだと言う。
そうこうしているうちに麻薬取締官が来てしまったので、販田はくるみに、その教授のもとへ行き、まだフェンタニルを使用していなかったら回収してきてと指示を出す。
販田は必死に麻薬取締官に世間話などをして時間を稼ぐ。
金庫を早く見せろという麻薬取締官の前で荒神に手品をさせたりして必死に時間を稼いでいたのだ。
くるみはフェンタニルの場所を聞き出すことに成功し、保管場所へと急ぐ。
一方、みどりは大宮の自宅につき、薬をみつけるのだが半分潰れてて識別番号が分からなかった。みどりは薬を舐めて確認し、羽倉に電話で識別番号をヒントに検索をかけてもらい上から順に読み上げてもらう。
そして羽倉の情報と味から薬を特定して瀬野に急いで電話をする。
しかし瀬野はそれだけでは判断が出来ないと告げる。
みどりは急いで大宮の診察カードから片っ端に電話をかけて、大宮が現在通っている病院を特定した。
麻利には大宮の元へ戻るように告げ、みどりはその病院へ大宮の処方箋を確認するために急ぐ。
一方、麻薬取締官はいよいよ痺れをきらし、販田は青ざめながら麻薬を保管している金庫へと案内する。
そして麻薬取締官が数を確認し始める。
荒神も青ざめながら立ちつくしている。
するとそこにくるみが間に合い、販田の手にそっとフェンタニルを渡す。
それに気が付いた荒神がまた手品を開始し麻薬取締官の気を一瞬そらす。
その隙に販田がフェンタニルを元に戻し、事なきを得たのだった。
大宮の処置はまだ続いていた。
瀬野のもとにみどりから大宮の薬の裏が取れたことを報告する連絡が入り、瀬野は豊中医師にそのことを伝える。
そしてようやく大宮の容態が落ち着いたのだった。
荒神は販田とくるみに誠心誠意謝り、「どんな処分でも受けます。」と頭を下げる。
しかし販田は荒神の手品に助けられたため、次からは気をつけてくださいと笑って許すのだった。
薬を飲んでくれない礼央に真央の疲れはピークを迎えていた
みどりは薬剤部のメンバーに、忙しい中外出したことを頭を下げる。
瀬野が豊中医師に外出許可を取ってくれていたので、みどりのお咎めはなしとなった。
その夜、みどりは販田と刈谷とくるみを誘って、辰川の中華料理店へとご飯を食べに行く。
皆、辰川のキャラが病院と違うことに驚き、笑うのだった。
刈谷は、病院にとって利益を上げていないみどりの行動を咎める。病院がなくなったら結局困るのは患者さんだからだ。
そして「あんたの行動はたんなる自己満足」と厳しく言うのだが、みどりは「薬剤師の仕事は薬を渡して終わりではありません。その先の患者さんの生活を考えて一人一人と向き合う必要があると思います。」と言い返す。
刈谷は先に帰ってしまうが、突然小野塚が「病院薬剤師って熱いんですね。」と話しかけてくる。
そして四人で一緒に食べることになるのだが、小野塚は「さっきの人の話、ある意味一番患者さんのこと考えていて、感動しました。」と告げ、みどりは考えこむのだった。
刈谷は帰宅途中、真央と礼央を見かける。
真央は礼央を抱っこしながら何やら電話で必死に相手に謝っていた。どうやら相手は職場の人で、明日も仕事に行けないという連絡をしているようだった。
その時に荷物が落ち、刈谷は駆け寄り、荷物を拾ってあげる。
真央は自宅に戻り、礼央に薬を飲ませるのだが、礼央は苦いから嫌だと薬をぶちまけてしまう。
礼央が寝た後真央は溜まった仕事を必死にパソコンと向き合ってこなす。
翌日、真央は医師に粉薬を嫌がるので変えて欲しいとお願いするのだが、医師に「錠剤だと喉につまってしまうので、もう少し頑張ってください。」と告げられ、真央は「頑張ってないですか…。」と呟き、慌ててすみませんと謝罪するのだった。
その後、刈谷に薬を渡された際に、真央は「粉薬を嫌がって飲んでくれないんです。色々工夫しているのですが…。」と相談する。
一度はテンプレ通りの回答をする刈谷だったが、去っていく真央と礼央の背中に「山口様！あの、ちょっとお時間よろしいですか。」と声をかける。
刈谷は調剤室に戻り、みどりに服薬指導の依頼入っているからお願い、と告げる。
大宮が麻利に隠していたこととは
みどりは真央に、礼央が服薬している薬を試食してもらう。
真央はオレンジジュースに薬を混ぜていると話し、みどりはオレンジジュースに薬を混ぜ、それも試食してもらう。
するとあまりの苦さに顔をしかめる。
この薬は酸性のものと一緒に服用すると、甘味料のコーティングが剥がれて苦みがとても強くなるのだ。
次に、みどりはチョコアイスに薬を混ぜたものを真央に試食してもらう。
するとチョコアイスの味しかせず、これなら礼央も服用してくれそうだと感激する。
このやり方はみどりは実は刈谷に教わったものである。
真央はシングルマザーだが、刈谷もシングルマザーなのだ。
みどりは真央に優しい言葉をかけ、なんでも相談して欲しいと伝え、真央は涙を流してお礼を言うのだった。
その後、みどりとくるみは大宮のもとを訪ねる。
みどりは「今日は大宮さんの薬の話をお話しにきました。」と告げる。
大宮は実は大病を患っていて、足を片方切ることが決まっており、かかりつけの病院から大量の薬を処方されていたが、その話は麻利には黙っていたのだ。
大宮は麻利に今まで何もしてあげられなかったのに、今更余計な心配や迷惑をかけたくなかったと、大宮は話す。
だから結婚式も本当は嬉しかったが、断ったのだと。
すると、そこに麻利が現れる。麻利は今の話を聞いていたのだ。
大宮はみどり達に「何を余計なことをしてるんだ！」と怒るが、みどりは大宮を放っておけないと告げる。
麻利は大宮に「逃げないでよ！片足でもなんでも、その姿でいいから！結婚ぐらいちゃんと見届けなさいよ！私には大宮さんしかいないのよ。しょうがないけど、大宮さんが、私のお父さんなんだから。」と涙を流しながら思いをぶつける。
麻利の母は五年間に亡くなってるのだ。
大宮も「とんだばかやろうだな。俺の娘は。」と涙を流すのだった。
みどりは大宮の手術後の後遺症の話をし、「どうか、お二人できちんと向き合ってください。お願いします。」と頭を下げるのだった。
その後、豊中医師は大宮からかかりつけ病院では無くてここの病院で手術を受けたいと相談があったそうだ。
そして担当医の指定はないが、薬剤師はみどりを指定し、これからもみどりに薬の相談をしたいと申し出があったのだった。
麻利の結婚式当日。大宮は片足で出席し、その後も麻利に支えられながらリハビリを頑張るのだった。

・大宮は大病を患っていたが、麻利には隠していた。みどりのはからいのおかげで麻利と向き合うことが出来、麻利の結婚式にも出ることが出来た。
・大宮はリハビリも麻利に支えながら一生懸命頑張っている。

1組目はシングルマザーで息子を育てている真央が登場し、薬を飲んでくれない子供の姿や、子供が寝てから必死に仕事をこなす姿が描かれていて、とてもリアルでした。
限界を超えそうなくらい頑張っていた真央でしたが、刈谷とみどりのおかげで希望が見えて、本当に良かったです。もう礼央くんもお薬飲んでくれそうですね！チョコアイスに粉薬を混ぜる方法は私もとても勉強になりました。
2組目は、20年ぶりに再会した父と娘が描かれていて、最後の結婚式のシーンで感動して涙が出ました！
これからも二人で支え合って生きていって欲しいです！
