文吾と面会する由紀
被害者の集いの後、由紀が壇上で話している姿を鈴に報告するさつき。
その後、松尾という女性から心に電話がかかってくる。文吾の無実を証言するという松尾だった。
文吾に面会に行く心は、由紀にも文吾が殺人を犯す人間じゃないと分かって欲しいと言い、一緒に行って欲しいと誘う。
松尾という女性が証言をしてくれるという話をするが、名前に覚えはないと言う。文吾に会った由紀は、最初は冤罪だと考えたことはなかったことを正直に話す。
優しそうな人だったと文吾のことを話す由紀に、月曜に松尾と会う際も一緒に行って欲しいと頼む心。承諾しながら、正式に取材もさせて欲しいと言う。
戸惑いながらも、了解する心だった。
家にいた鈴は、音臼小の学級写真を見るさつきの姿を見つける。さつきは写真を見ながら鈴の名前を呼び、嘘つきだと言う。
鈴が文吾の娘だと知っていると言い、みきおに話されたくなかったら自分に協力するように脅すのだった。
松尾から電話がかかり、証言できなくなったと言われてしまう心。娘から家族を巻き込むなと反対されたのだった。
松尾に会いに行く心
松尾から断られたことを鈴に報告した心は、その後直接松尾に会いに行く。それを聞いた由紀は自分も行くと言うが、編集長から仕事を押し付けられてしまう。
家に帰った鈴は、さつきに証言者が断ってきたことを報告する。さつきは鈴に、松尾に証言させないようにと命令していたのだった。
仕事を終えた由紀は、松尾の家に向かう。雨の中、松尾の家の前に行くと、心が傘もささずに座り込んでいた。
家に帰るように言う由紀に、31年も独りぼっちでいた文吾を、これ以上一人にする訳にはいかないと言う心。
自分も一緒に戦うから、とりあえず今日は家に帰ろうと説得し、心を連れて帰る。その様子を、家の中からそっとみていた松尾がいた。
証言を阻止しようとするさつき
文吾に面会に行った松尾。松尾は、メッキ工場で働いていた佐々木だった。証言するつもりだったが娘から反対されて証言できないと謝罪する。
がっかりする文吾だったが、松尾の事情も組んだ文吾は、もう十分に苦しんだ顔をされていると、松尾のことを許すのだった。
その頃、松尾という名前から佐々木を探し出したさつきは、鈴を連れて松尾の家に向かう。鈴に、松尾に証言しないように指示し、もしダメなら特性の芋ようかんを渡すように言われる。
何が入っているのかと聞くが、スペシャルレシピだと言うさつき。
そこに心からメールが届き、松尾が証言してくれることになったと知らされる。そのメールを見たさつきは、車を急いで走らせるのだった。
心は由紀にも報告し、松尾の家に急ぐ。
家に到着し、松尾が佐々木だと分かった心。その直後チャイムが鳴り、鈴が中に入ってくる。自分も一緒に話を聞くと言い、二人で松尾の話を聞くことになる。
松尾の死
31年前のことを話し始めた松尾。翼がある人から頼まれたからと工場から青酸カリを持ち出すよう命令してきたと言う。
その後すぐに明音の失踪事件が起きたが、翼は言われた通りにできなかったからおしまいだと言い、青酸カリで自殺してしまったのだった。
残りの青酸カリが見つからないまま、自分も死のうと考えて山の中を歩いていると、金丸を見かけた松尾。後を追うと、犯人と金丸が話をしていて、未来のことが書かれたノートのことを聞いたと言う。
そのノートがあった場所を金丸が覗きこんでいると、犯人が金丸を突き落としたのだった。その時聞いた犯人の声について話そうとした時、隣にいた鈴が薬を口の中に入れ、倒れてしまう。
救急車で運ばれた鈴だったが、命に別状はなくお腹の子どもも無事だと言う。安心した心だったが、そこに由紀から電話がかかってくる。
急いで松尾の家に戻ると、救急車が家の前に停まっていた。由紀から松尾が死んだと聞かされ驚いていると、家の中からさつきが運ばれて救急車に乗せられる。
なぜさつきがいるのか訳が分からない心だったが、証言してくれる松尾が亡くなったことに落胆する。
もう無理だと諦めかける心に、自分は諦めないと励ます由紀。その言葉に思わず由紀を抱きしめる心だった。

ようやく犯人の手がかりが掴めると思ったのに、さつきの妨害に遭ってしまい、すごくじれったいです。しかも殺されてしまうなんて・・・。
松尾を殺してまでさつきが守りたい人間は誰なのか、次週の続きが気になって仕方ありません。
