サクラ、目覚める
みんなに会いに行こうとして事故にあったことを思い出し、目覚めたサクラは「みんなに会いてぇ」と思う。
サクラが目覚めたと知った仲間たちは病室へ走り、サクラの無事を喜んだ。
サクラは自分がずっと眠っていて9か月体が動いていなかったのを知る。
そんななか、葵は黒川が持ってきた解雇通知書を出し、これから新しい仕事が見つかると励ますのだった。
サクラはしばらく会わないうちに仲間たちが大人になったと言うが、みんなは「そんなことない」と否定する。
サクラは事故に遭う前にもらった、仲間たちからのFAX手紙のお礼を言い、病室に駆けてきた仲間たちに「走らない方がいい」と注意する。
そんなサクラに仲間たちはホッとして笑うのだった。
退院したサクラが百合と一緒に松葉杖でアパートに戻ると、空っぽだった部屋に家具が入っていて驚く。
仲間たちで出し合って買ったといい、サクラは恐縮する。
お隣の小梅が子供と一緒にやってきて、子供を助けてくれたお礼とお詫びをした。
百合は子供を産んで仕事と育児の両立が難しく、起業しようと考えていた。
働く女性が気軽に預けられる託児所を作りたいと思っていたのだ。
サクラは葵に相談してみたら、と聞くが百合が首を横に振る。
子どもの父親だけど葵と結婚する気はなく、今でも葵はサクラが好きなのよと話した。
翌日、サクラがリハビリをしていると葵がやってきて差し入れをくれる。
葵と話をしていると、葵が新しいプロジェクトのメンバーに選ばれたと話す。
葵は百合に結婚しようと話したが断られたと言い、百合に自分は必要ないのかもと呟くのだった。
そして東北にいる菊夫からネット通話がきて、ネットカフェで蓮太郎と話す。
菊夫はNPO法人の代表になってくれと頼まれていた。
菊夫は悩みながらも、サクラの就職の応援をして通信を切った。
それから蓮太郎はすみれと結婚してもう一人子供ができたが、会社との折り合いが悪く、どうしようか迷っているのだった。
サクラは部屋で夕食を食べようとしたが、後遺症の手の痺れで弁当を落としてしまう。
その時すみれがやってきて作りすぎた料理を持ってきた。
すみれは「心配かけまいとして走りすぎてない？」と心配するが、サクラはすみれが妊娠していることをお祝いする。
すみれは蓮太郎が悩んでいることを知っていたが、あえて口に出さないでいることをサクラは知るのだった。
サクラは新しい就職先の面接をいくつかするが、花村建設を辞めた経緯を正直に話すとどこも雇ってくれないのだった。
サクラと就職活動
サクラはコンビニのバイトをはじめるが、動作が遅いのと愛想がないので店長に注意される。
バイトしながら就職先を探していると、お隣の草真に声をかけられ「いま就職厳しいですよね」と言われる。
サクラはなかなか就職が決まらず、何か他にできないか考え、みんなの悩みを解決できないかと思う。
サクラは百合に電話し、今度みんなでウチで鍋をしようと誘う。
百合は喜びみんなに声をかけておくと言った。
サクラは料理をしながら悩む仲間一人ずつに伝えたいことを声に出す。
料理の支度を終えてみんなを待っていたが、直前になって百合も蓮太郎も菊夫も「今日は行けない」と連絡が来た。
実はそれぞれサクラが話そうとしてた内容を、それぞれがちゃんと見つけていたのだ。
葵は来たものの、みんながいないことを知ると「今日はやめておく」と言い、そろそろサクラを吹っ切らないといけないと話す。
葵もまた、他のみんなと同じく自分で答えを見つけていたのだ。
自分がいなくても行く道を見つけている仲間たちに、サクラは寂しさを感じる。
サクラは就職が決まらないのでコンビニで働いていたが、ガラの悪い客に思ったことを言ったせいでコンビニの店長が土下座することになる。
故郷へ帰るサクラ
結局コンビニをクビになったサクラは、歩いているとリクエスト店の老女が公園に座っているのを見た。
サクラはリクエスト店がなくなったことを残念だと伝えると、老女は古いものは消えていく運命なのかもねと言い、その場を離れた。
その時、故郷の島にいるおばちゃんから電話が来て、サクラを心配していると話し、橋のことを気にしなくていいから帰っておいでと言ってくれた。
東京になじめないサクラは、その優しいことばに目を潤ませるのだった。
サクラは部屋の片づけをして、故郷の島に帰ることを決めた。
みんなに連絡をし、元リクエスト店があったネットカフェに行き、別れの挨拶の練習をする。
その時みんなが現れて、壊れてしまったサクラの眼鏡と同じタイプのをプレゼントする。
サクラはお礼を言い、そして話があると口を開き「故郷の島に帰ります」と言う。
仲間たちは驚き、引き留める。
サクラは自分がなにもできないことを改めて感じ、何も成し遂げていないことを思い知った。
自分のような忖度できない人間は東京には合わなかったんだと言い、サクラを店を出た。
故郷へ帰るその日、仲間たちが現れる。
「連れて行きたいところがあるの」
これからも北野サクラでありつづけます！
サクラが連れて行かれたのは、新人研修の時にサクラが絶賛した保育園の着工が決められた場所だ。
新人研修で保育園をデザインした人があの時のサクラの言葉に勇気をもらい、苦労しながらも夢を叶えることができたのだ。
菊夫はサクラが何も成し遂げていないと言ったが、サクラが言った言葉でここまで成し遂げたんだと言う。
仲間たちはそれぞれ自分がサクラに言われた言葉を、今度はサクラに言い返す。
「サクラの故郷に橋はかからないけど、俺たちの心に橋をかけてくれたんだ」
「サクラの世界にサクラは一人しかいないんだ」
仲間たちの言葉を聞き、サクラは以前に柊作がFAXで送ってくれた数々の言葉を口にする。
その言葉が、サクラの心を軽くした。
そして改めて自分の夢を話す。
「わたしには夢があります。素晴らしい仲間とたくさんの人を幸せにする建物を作ることです」
「わたしには夢があります。天国で見守ってくれている爺ちゃんに、サクラは毎日頑張っているよと胸を張って報告することです」
「わたしには夢があります。ふるさとにかけられなかった橋よりもっと素晴らしい心の橋をたくさんの人にかけることです」
「わたしはこれからも北野サクラでありつづけます！」
そう言って、サクラは仲間たちと写真を撮った。
翌日、サクラは弱音を吐かないと決めて、就職活動へ向かった。
新しく面接すると採用だったが、そこに黒川がやってきた。
「花村建設に戻ってこないか」
俺のもとに来い、と言われるのだった。

色々あったけどサクラがサクラらしくなって本当に良かった！
初めはうまくいかなくて自信を失っているサクラが先週と同じく痛々しく見えましたが、最後に爺ちゃんの言葉を思い出して復活する姿は感動的でした。
でもラスト、黒川さんが出てきて「花村建設に戻ってこい」言われたのはびっくりでした。
やった！と嬉しくなったんですが、次回予告を見て嫌な予感に胸騒ぎが止まりません。
次回最終回のはずなんですが……どんな終わり方になるのでしょうか。
楽しみですが不安です！

同期の4人、サクラのことロボットだとでも思ってるのかな。
否定されたら辛いし、子会社に飛ばされたり、希望の部署に行けなかったら心が折れそうにもなるよ。仲間を大切にして自分の信念貫いて生きろ！それが自分達が知ってるサクラだ！

#同期のサクラ 毎週つらい。よくある「勝ち気で空気を読まないヒロインが上司にズバズバ意見を言って無双する話」かと思ったらぜんぜん違う。空気を「読まない」のではなく「読めない」んだ。それで救われる仲間もいる一方、サクラ自身はどんどん会社での立場を失っていく。不器用すぎて目が離せない。
