監督決めに悩む君嶋
「アストロズ」を存続する決意を固めた君嶋（大泉洋さん）だったが、監督を決めると言う大きな役割に頭を悩ませる。候補の2人と面談するが、決められずにいた。勝ち方を知っている経営者が優秀なように、優勝経験のある監督がいいのではという意見になったが、候補の2人は優勝経験はなかった。
城南大学を3度の優勝に導いた柴門（大谷亮平さん）はどうかという岸和田（高橋光臣さん）たちだったが、大学時代の同期で、その頃からよく思っていなかった君嶋は、考えさせてくれと言う。
2年前の因縁
迷ったあげく、柴門の携帯に電話する君嶋。「アストロズ」の監督を申し出たが、断ったのはそっちが先だと断られてしまう。吉原（村田雄浩さん）に事情を聞くと、2年前の監督人事で、別の監督へのオファーが進んでいたにも関わらず、当時の副部長、滝川（上川隆也さん）が柴門にもオファーをしてしまい、結局柴門を断ったのだと言う。
事情を理解した君嶋が改めて謝罪の手紙を送ると、柴門は会ってくれた。しかも君嶋のことを覚えていたのだった。大学時代、柴門に貸したノートに「ラグビーなんか消えてなくなれ」と書いていたことも覚えていた。「アストロズ」の現状を話した上で、一度見せて欲しいとの返答をもらう。
柴門は受け入れられるのか？
府中工場を訪れた柴門を送ってきたのは、大学時代君嶋が好きだったシオリ（川田裕美さん）で、何度もフラれたがようやく結婚してくれたのだと話す柴門だった。
クラブハウスを案内しようとした君嶋たちだったが、選手たちの仕事の様子を見たいといい、工場を見学する。その後練習の様子を見ていた柴門だったが、優勝を狙えるチームにすることは頑張るが、優勝は約束できないと言いながらも、引き受けてくれると言う。
ただ、選手たち全員に、自分が監督でもいいのかを確認して欲しいと申し出る。1人でも反対する者がいれば、引き受けるつもりはないと言う。その考えを尊重した君嶋は、選手を集め、柴門が1人1人にあてて書いた手紙を渡す。
そこには、練習で見た様子からその選手の欠点や改善点が細かく書いてあった。それは全て的を得たものであり、選手のことを考えた内容だったため、関心する選手たち。中でも一番的を得た事を言われたのは浜畑（廣瀬俊朗）だった。エースとしてのピークは過ぎたため、どう変われるかが重要だと言う柴門の言葉は、浜畑自身認めたくないが、一番分かっていたことだったのだ。
柴門監督誕生！
改めて選手たちに答えを求めると、全員が柴門に頼みたいと言う。その場で、「全員賛成だ！」と声をかけると、柴門が入ってくる。「今日から家族だ。」と言い、士気を上げる柴門だった。翌日から、早速具体的な練習方法や、合宿などを要求する柴門だったが、そのためには更に1億の予算が必要だった。経理にかけあうものの、通るはずもなく、柴門と激しい口論になるのだった。
予算の捻出に頭を悩ます君嶋が出した答えは、スタイラーとオズマの2人の契約更新をしないという提案だった。重要な得点源ではあるものの、逆にタックルのミスからの失点も多いことを挙げ、他のタックルの上手い選手を起用することで、チーム全体底上げをするとい考えだった。残りの足りない分は、コーチを雇わず、本波（天野義久）がコーチを兼任することで補うことになった。
予算会議に出席した君嶋の意見に、チーム力が下がると反対する役員たちだったが、柴門も了承済みなことを伝え、優勝すると宣言するのだった。

「ノーサイドゲーム」2話の感想
君嶋の過去の柴門への思い出を見ている限りでは、注目されていることを鼻にかけた嫌なヤツに見えていましたが、予想とはかなり違っていました。ストレートな物言いはするものの、ちゃんと相手のことも見ていて、むしろいいヤツでした。ラグビーが本当に好きで、熱い人なんだなと思いました。
1億もの予算をどうやって削るのか、心配しながら見ていましたが、君嶋の思い切った判断に関心しました。勇気のいることだとは思いますが、プラスの面だけではなく、マイナス面にも目を向けるという発想はすごいと思いました。

氏名や生年月日など必要情報を入力し、スクロールしていきます。
支払い方法を選びます。
A.無料体験期間中にレンタル商品を購入する場合や、無料体験が終わった後に「Paraviベーシックプラン」の利用手続きをスムーズにするため、事前に決済情報の登録をお願いしています。支払い情報を登録しても、無料体験の期間中に月額利用料が発生することはありません。無料体験期間中に解約しても、料金の請求は一切ありません。
「利用規約およびプライバシーポリシーに同意する」の左枠にチェックを入れ、
「登録して続ける」をタップします。（画像ではドコモ払いと書かれていますが、選んだ支払い法によって表記は変わります）
そして、支払い方法の必要項目を入力して登録すれば完了です。
あとは、2週間以内に解約すれば無料です。
その先は、視聴機器によってParaviの無料アプリで視聴できます。
無料アプリを使えば、ダウンロードしておくことも可能ですので、自宅のWi-Fiなどであらかじめダウンロードしておけば、外出先でも携帯料金を気にする心配はありません。
Paravi解約方法
右上の「ログイン」をタップし右上の「メニュー（横3本線）」をタップします。
ログインが表示されていなければ、そのまま「メニュー」をタップしてください。
すると表示される枠の中の「アカウント情報」をタップしてください。
「契約プランの確認・変更・解約」「プラン解約」の順にタップしていきます。
そして
STEP１/3「解約を続ける」
STEP2/3 下にスクロールして「解約する」
の順にタップしていけば解約完了です。
解約ページの場所さえ分かれば、この通りにやれば簡単に解約できます。
