あらゆるところにつながりを持つ久住
久住は、裏の世界との繋がりを非常に持っている。
久住の名前は世の中のクズを見捨てるっていう意味を持っていると本人は言う。
その意味は、多分クズを見捨てるんじゃなくて、この世からクズを見放したい、消し去りたいという意味を持たせているように思う。
あるいはこの世の苦しみ、苦しみの中に生きている、住んでいる、という意味の名前なのかもしれない。
菅田将暉が演じる久住は、その繋がりの多さから、警察内部にも繋がっているようにも思われる。現に捜査を的確に行おうとする桔梗に、それを阻もうとする我孫子。
彼は、この事件を解決することをできないように、彼女を追い詰めているかのように見られる。おそらくこの我孫子を含め、かなり大多数の人間が久住とつながりを持ち、裏社会とつながっていると思われる。
この先、久住と警察との過去の出来事が暴かれていくだろう。
そこには、警察の不正を久住に見られるなど、なんらかの弱みを掴まれているに違いない。
そこで明らかになる事実をから、自らの所属する警察という組織に疑問を持つ。
伊吹と志磨のいる第四は解散
2人の所属する第四捜査課は解散する。
これも警察上層部の意向によって行われる。
事件の真相は、まだドラマに現れていない、経済界のドンのような存在が背後にある。
彼には数多の手先がいて、久住もその1人に過ぎない。
そしてそのドンとある女性の間にできた子どもが久住である。
久住は、一見従順にその男に従っているように見えて、彼を恨んでいる。
そして彼に復讐を狙っている。
久住な存在には、権力者の不都合が詰まっている。
その不都合を消すために彼に悪事をさせて、最終的には彼をこの世の中から、消してしまうことが目的である。
404の意味
404とは、インターネットでnotfound(見つからない)の意味らしい。ということは、存在自体を無かったことにするという裏の意図がある。
伊吹や志摩は彼らの不都合を暴こうとするが、あらゆる手を使って、ドンは彼らの目的を阻む。そのうち、何か事故に見せかけたことが起こり、志摩か伊吹が命を落とすことになる。
悪のドンと取引をしてしまう桔梗。隊員の死を見て、これ以上仲間が死ぬことを恐れた桔梗は、久住を通じてドンと取引をしてしまう。
その内容こそが、第四捜査課の解散だったのだ。このことを受けて、メンバーは仲違いをしてしまうが、亡くなった仲間のためにも真実を暴くため最後までがんばる。
そして見事、悪事をはたらいていた人間は、全員逮捕となる。
