ディア・ペイシェント 5話のネタバレあらすじ
西園寺に暴言を吐く瀬戸
認知症患者の西園寺の病室で、介護士の瀬戸や陽子とともに俳句を詠んで相手をする千晶。その直後、突然家に帰ると言い出す西園寺。
瀬戸が何とか引き止めて病室に戻っていく姿を見た千晶は、同じように認知症を患っている佑子のことを思い出してしまう。
翌日、瀬戸が西園寺に対して暴言を吐いたことが問題になり、高峰による院内裁判が開かれる。会場で、瀬戸が暴言を吐いた証拠だと言い、防犯カメラの映像を見せる高峰。
そこには、西園寺が瀬戸に対して暴言を吐いたり、暴力的な態度を取る様子が映っていた。その西園寺に対して「あんたには帰る家がない」と言う瀬戸の発言も映っていたのだった。
暴言を吐いたことについて聞かれた瀬戸は、西園寺がかわいそうになったのだと打ち明ける。西園寺は裕福な家庭でありながらも、入院している西園寺を家族は見舞いに来ない。
そんな環境が西園寺に暴力的な態度を取らせているのだと主張する瀬戸だったが、暴言については謝罪をする。
すると、懲戒処分を言い渡そうとする沼田だったが、佐々井はこれ以上スタッフを追い詰めることは不要だと制止するのだった。
佑子が行方不明に？
心配した千晶は瀬戸に駆け寄っていくが、ビデオに映っていないところで「まともな就職につけなかったから介護士をしている」と言われたことを打ち明ける瀬戸。
真相をつかれたことでカッとなったのは確かだと話す瀬戸。
勤務後に陽子とラーメンを食べに行った千晶は、瀬戸のことや佑子のことを話しながらも、陽子が訴えられている件についてそれとなく話を聞く。
だが、弁護士もついてくれているから大丈夫だと、笑顔で答える陽子だった。
西園寺の診察に行くと「瀬戸はどこに行った」と聞かれる千晶。瀬戸の元に伝えに行くと、西園寺とは接触禁止なのだと言われる。
さらに、仕事を辞めようと思っていると打ち明ける瀬戸。そこに万里から電話があり、佑子が居なくなったことを聞かされる千晶。
事情を知った瀬戸が車を出してくれることになり、山梨に向かう。だが、到着する前に万里から見つかったと連絡が来る。
佑子は、千晶に会いに行こうと駅に向かう途中で迷子になってしまったらしかった。
再び現れる座間
実家に着き佑子の顔を見て安心するものの、責任を感じる千晶。自分が山梨に戻ってくれば、徹は佑子にずっとついていることができると考える。
だが、患者との向き合い方を今の病院で学ぶべきだと、千晶に諭す徹。
送ってくれた瀬戸にお礼を言う徹たちに、千晶に恩返しがしたかっただけだと答える瀬戸。瀬戸は、千晶がいつも誰にでも対等でいてくれることに救われていたのだった。
介護士を続けて欲しいと言う千晶だったが、いろんなことをしたみた上で考えると言う瀬戸。
夜中、当直の千晶が見回りをしていると、突然座間が現れる。千晶が当直であることを知っていたから来たと言い、今度は母親も連れてくると言う座間。
千晶が脳梗塞は専門ではないと返すと、突然千晶に掴みかかって来る。そこに警備員が駆けつけたため、助けを求める千晶。
諦めて帰っていく座間だったが、本採用前の警備員だったため、警察に届けると採用されないと泣きつかれて泣き寝入りする千晶だった。
病院を去る瀬戸
瀬戸から、今週いっぱいで病院を辞めることになったと聞かされた千晶。西園寺に渡して欲しいと俳句を託される。
暴言を吐く一方で、家族にすがろうとする西園寺のことを、自分の祖父のような気持で接していたのだと話す瀬戸。だからこそ、帰りたいと言う西園寺の言葉を聞いた時「介護士は家族にはなれない」と感じてしまったのだった。
西園寺に俳句を渡しに行こうとした千晶は、病室から出て来る西園寺に遭遇。「あいつが帰ってこん」と瀬戸のことを口にする西園寺に、瀬戸が他の仕事に就いたと答えると、瀬戸は自分の息子なんだと探し出す。
「あいつがいなければここに居る意味はない」と言う西園寺に、瀬戸が書いた俳句を渡す千晶。「ありがとう 怒鳴り声にも 見れる愛」と書かれた俳句を見た西園寺は「会いたい」と泣き出すのだった。
その後、施設でのんびりしていた佑子に近づく人影が。佑子の肩に手を置いたその人物は、座間だった。

医療に携わる人も大変ですが、介護士の仕事もかなりハードであることは分かります。介護の現場で老人たちがぞんざいに扱われるニュースもある中、瀬戸のように自分の家族のように接してくれる介護士さんがいることに、安心しました。
同時に、その介護士さんを家族だと思っている西園寺にも救われた気がします。
