【スコップ男殺人事件、防犯カメラに映る堂々とした犯行】
スコップで人間の頭部を殴打し殺し、土中に埋める。その様子を監視カメラが捉えているのに犯人が捕まらない。おまけに、犯人はわざわざ、被害者の片手を土上に出し、その手のひらは助けを求めているかのようだ。
【親父はやってない!!】
9年前のスコップ男殺人事件の容疑者として逮捕され、自供したとされる天満暁生(当時51歳)。その事件そっくりの今回の事件。模倣犯なのか、別に犯人がいたのか!?。その事で、動き出した天満暁生の子、直子(35歳)と智也(30歳)。父は連続殺人を犯し、3人を殺したという。
その中の一人は妻、兄弟の母だ。獄中の父は、「殺ってない」。そう訴え続けている。兄弟は父の無罪を信じ、3件目の殺人の時のアリバイ、交通違反キップを切った及川蘭子警察学校助教に質問をしに来たのだ。しかし、徹底的な警察不信。
弟の手には、硫酸入り水鉄砲が。こんな時はどうしたら!?。それを物語の主人公とはいえ、警察学校の生徒に問う事になるとは!?。
【必死さだけは伝わった前話までの二人】
犯人との格闘で、眼鏡を割り続けながら、警察による世の立て直しと、たまたま出会った一ノ瀬との友情の為に全力を尽くしてきた本間快。役割分担的には、頭脳でした。
そして、亡くなった警察官志望の兄の夢を代わりに叶える為、意気投合した本間とともに、体中痣だらけになって奮闘するタフガイ･一ノ瀬次郎。体力は本間よりも上。
まだまだ警察学校の学生ですが、目立つ暴れぶり。今回は警察学校に乗り込んで来た天満姉弟に人質にされてしまいました。
【どうネゴシエーションに協力する!?】
警察官にとって、犯人との交渉事は重大な役務。だが、目の前で、それが行われる時、警察学校の学生がその場に居合わせたら!?。エキストラは務めなければならない。
だが、まず、そっと大人しい居合わせ者役であればよかったはず。実際の交渉は、神奈川県警捜査一課出身のプロファイラー･片野坂譲教官が行う事で彼らの安心感は保証されたと言っていいのです。
そして、交代の人質の身分では、生徒に権威的に圧をもって接する訳にもいかず、事件の分析を本間と行う事で、犯人の信用を得ようとした片野坂。警察を代表して謝罪も行っています。負傷している及川蘭子助教の他は、後は学生の本間快だけ。大人しく黙って見ていればいいだけでした。
【本間快が口を開いた！】
片野坂の説得に応じようとしない姉弟。殺人犯の子として、この9年、差別･偏見の被害に遭っており、すでに、自殺未遂をした事もある模様。警察官の言葉には裏があると思い込んでいる節もあります。そこで、一般人と警察官の中間にある本間の目は、黙って見ているだけでは…。
ギラギラ輝いていた目はいつも狙われるトレードマークの眼鏡のせいではない。父･暁生の危篤の知らせの電話が届き、自殺をしようとする直子に、「まだ終わっていません。諦めちゃいけない。お父さんを愛しているならここから出ましょう」。
ありきたりの言葉のようで、言葉巧みなプロの刑事にない一途な愛。本間のギラギラした必死さが犯人に評価されて、武器は放棄され、立てこもりを解除したという事でした。
【人間、必死になればできる！】
プロの巧緻なマニュアルよりも信用された本間のガッツ。打つ手が無くなったら、初心に帰る。その初心はひたすら一生懸命な姿勢。そういう部分では、いいエピソードでしたね。
第7話の終盤で不穏な動きを見せた同期
天満姉弟の立てこもり事件後から様子がおかしい、同期の橘冬美。キャリーケースから謎の黒いガラケーを出すシーンで第7話が終了した。
以前、橘本人が、父親は警察官という発言をしており、スコップ男の事件に何らかの関わりがあるのではないかと感じた。
考えられるスコップ男の事件への関与～犯人予想～
- 父親がスコップ男の正体
- 1人目の被害者の友人
- 3人目の被害者が父親。
父親がスコップ男の正体
警察関係者が事件の真犯人の可能性が高いと判明したことにより、橘は自分の父親に何か思い当たる節があり、悩んでいるのではないか。
（父親に快楽殺人犯的な要素を感じていたなど）
1人目の被害者の友人
スコップ男に殺害された被害者は3人。1人目の被害者は当時14歳。事件は9年前に起こったため、生きていれば23歳ということになる。
橘が当時、殺害された1人目の少女の同級生で友人だった可能性は捨てきれない。
犯人だと思っていた男が、実は犯人ではないとわかり、様子がおかしくなったのではないか。
3人目の被害者が父親。
3人目の被害者は当時捜査に当たっていた警察官。苗字は彼女と違うが、両親が離婚している、もしくは父親が死去後、母親性に戻した可能性がある。
彼女の父親が警察官だということは分かっているが、それ以外彼女のバックボーンは明らかになっていない。
父親を殺害した犯人が、実は警察関係者ということが判明し、動揺し落ち込んでいるのではないか。
可能性が高いのは3人目の被害者が父親説？
私は橘の父親が3人目の被害者の可能性が高いと考える。
その理由は、ずばり彼女が持っていた携帯電話。
1人目の被害者のものであれば14歳という年齢、女の子であるということから、白やピンクのほうがしっくりくるのではないか。
黒い携帯電話は彼女の父親が昔使用していたもの。というほうが自然だ。
父親がスコップ男に殺害された後、携帯を発見した彼女は、そこに父が捜査で得た情報を知る。
そこには捕まった犯人ではない真犯人の情報などが書かれていたのではないか。
しかし、警察関係者が犯人ではないかと疑っていた彼女は、警察に相談できず、9年もの時を経てしまった。
警察学校の生徒となった彼女は、スコップ男事件の再捜査実習でも積極的に意見を出すも真相は分からず…
そんな時、今回の天満姉弟の立てこもり事件が起こる。
やはり、天満姉弟の父親が犯人ではないこと、警察関係者が怪しいということが分かり、本間快や一ノ瀬次郎ら同期に、今後、父親のこと、携帯電話のことを打ち明け、一緒に事件解決を目指していくと考察する。
