目の見えないピアニストの警護
KICKSガードを退社し、島崎の事務所に入ると言う高梨。一時的な感情で動くなと止める島崎だったが、高梨は既に決めたと言う。
後日、事務所に沢口が訪れて、仕事を持ってきたと言う。依頼人は目の見えないピアニスト・守尾恵麻。
元々はKICKSガードが請け負っていたが、降りた後どこも引き受けるところがないのだと言う沢口。詳細は分からないものの、所属事務所に出向く島崎。そこに高梨も合流する。
恵麻の姉で事務所の代表取締役でもある美和と面会した島崎は、大手の警備会社が次々と辞退している訳について尋ねる。
警護をしなければならないような危険なことがあったのかと聞くと、恵麻本人だと打ち明ける。取材中の恵麻の元に行くと、途中で立ち上がり部屋を出て行ってしまう。
これまでにも自殺に近い行動をたびたびとっているため、警備会社からは「自分で自分を傷つけるような人の警護はできない」と断られてしまったのだと話すのだった。
心を開かない恵麻
美和から無事にポーランドのコンクールに連れて行って欲しいと言われ、引き受ける島崎。早速恵麻に挨拶に行くが、ボディガードなんていらないと拒絶する。
島崎が恵麻の警護をすることになったことを聞いた劉。恵麻の警護を続けたかったと強気で意見するまゆだったが、危険な仕事は下請けに投げればいいと言うのだった。
恵麻の自宅を訪れた島崎と高梨。両親は既に亡くなっていて、美和と二人暮らしだと言う。大学に同行した島崎は、時計の針の方向を使い恵麻に危険などを知らせ、無事学内に到着。
恵麻がピアノを弾こうと席についてピアノを開けると、そこには一枚の紙が置かれていた。紙には「何様？実力もないクセに」と書かれていて、講師の桜井がさりげなく回収。
だが恵麻は気づいていて、何が書かれていたのかを聞いてくる。応援のメッセージだと言い嘘のコメントを読み上げるが、それも見抜いてそのまま部屋を出て行ってしまう。
外に出た恵麻は、島崎たちに渋谷に行きたいと言うのだった。
姉と妹の関係
渋谷に行った恵麻は、洋服を選んだりステーキを食べに行ったりとわがままを言って歩き回る。
その頃、美和は桜井から恵麻の指導をさせて欲しいと頼まれていた。だが美和は、もう桜井には教えられないと拒絶。過去に美和は桜井と付き合っていて別れたが、そのこととは関係ないと答えるのだった。
高梨が、今ステーキ店にいることを美和に報告していると、まゆから電話がかかってくる。見ると、すぐ近くにいて、今いる店が恵麻と美和、そして2人の母親の3人で来た思い出の場所であると知らせてくる。
さらに、恵麻が美和の前でしか危険な行動をしないことも教えるまゆ。店に戻った高梨は、そのことをスマホで島崎に教える。
だが、そのことを察知して尋ねてきた恵麻に、本当のことを話す島崎。すると、美和のことを信頼していないと打ち明ける。
美和にとって自分は、仕事の資本でしかないのだと言う恵麻。美和は、恵麻が全盲であることをアピールするが、恵麻自身はそれが嫌だったのだ。
恵麻がステーキを食べている時、店の外を歩く男に気づいた島崎。それは、桑田議員のパーティで襲撃してきた男だったが、恵麻のそばを離れる訳にもいかずスルーする。
気持ちをぶつけ合う2人
店を出て車までの階段を降りようとした時、突然狙われる恵麻。高梨が犯人と対峙している隙に、島崎が恵麻を庇いながら車の方へ逃げる。
バランスを崩したため、島崎が下敷きになって恵麻を庇いながら落ちてしまう。その間に犯人を確保した高梨だったが、覆面を取ると男は桜井だった。
恵麻を病院に連れて行き検査を受けるが、幸い骨やじん帯には異常がないとのこと。だが、壮行会にもコンクールにも行かないと言う恵麻。
桜井が犯人だったと聞き、桜井が指導を辞めてから恵麻が成長したのが面白くないのだということや、美和と結婚できなかったことで恨んでいるのだろうと言う。
桜井を警察に引き渡した高梨だったが、島崎と連絡が取れなくなる。島崎は恵麻を連れて教会に。そこは、恵麻がピアノを始めた思い出の場所だった。
島崎は高梨に連絡し、こっちの条件を飲むなら恵麻を返すと美和に伝えるように言い教会に呼び出す。
教会に来た美和に、美和が社長を退くならコンクールに出ると言う恵麻の気持ちを伝える島崎。恵麻も、自分のために仕事や恋やピアノを犠牲にする美和に自由になって欲しいという気持ちをぶつける。
すると美和は、恵麻のピアノのために犠牲になっている訳じゃないと恵麻を叩き、その場でピアノを弾き始める。恵麻は泣きながら美和の隣に座り、2人で楽しそうに連弾するのだった。
その後、1人でポーランドに出発する恵麻だった。
劉について調べていた沢口は、強盗に遭い、婚約者が銃撃されて死亡していることを知る。その頃、高梨と2人でやっていくことを決めた島崎は、劉が桑田と示し合わせて襲撃事件を起こしたことを打ち明けるのだった。

やはり、高梨は島崎と一緒に仕事をすることになり、2人の連携がこれからも見られるのは嬉しいです。
恵麻を守るために、恵麻を抱きしめながら階段を落ちるシーンは思わず見入ってしまいました。見るからに危険なシーンで、どこまで本当に体を張ったのか心配になるほどでした。アストーリーも見ごたえがありますが、アクションシーンも満載です。
