アライブ-がん専門医のカルテ-に関する詳しい解説は↓
かつての心の患者が切迫流産で緊急入院してきた
切迫流産で緊急入院した小山内静は、かつて大腸がんで入院していたことがあり、心が担当していた。
検査の結果、肝臓への転移が見つかった。
カンファレンスで、心たち医師はがん治療のために静の妊娠継続は難しいということで一致した。
心と薫は静の病室に行き、静と夫の敬にがんが再発したことを説明する。
心は「妊娠の継続は難しい状況です。今は静さんの命を優先して考えましょう。」と告げ、薫が切除手術について詳しく説明する。
しかし、静は「先生たちが言いたいことは理解しています。でも、中絶はできません。色んなことを覚悟したうえで決めたことなんです。おんころ先生、これを逃したら私がもう妊娠できないの知ってるでしょ。なんといわれようと、結論は変わりません。」と告げるのだった。
静は腫瘍内科の皆に、静からは中絶の同意を得られなかったことを話す。
その頃、敬は静に「静さん本気なの？」と尋ね、静は「小山内くん、約束分かってるよね？これがだめなら、終わりだからね。」と告げていた。
翌日、心は化学療法室へ行くと、乳がん闘病中の佐倉莉子がスマホの画面を看護師たちに見せていた。
心も画面を見せてもらうと、それは退院した高坂民代が海外での旅行の出来事を紹介しているSNSの記事だった。
心は莉子にはSNSで発信するのはどうかと勧める。
心は静のもとへ行き、「このまま妊娠を継続すると、治療のタイミングを逃してしまうことになります。」と告げるのだが、静の意志は固いままだった。
そして「夫には、私と結婚したこと後悔させたくないの。他の夫婦みたいに彼と一緒に喜びを分かち合いたい。」と泣き出す。
その後、心のもとに、民代が旅先で倒れたという連絡が入る…。
民代が戻ってきた
民代は病院のベッドに運ばれており、心が会いに行くと「ただいま。またおんころ先生と顔を合わせることになっちゃったね。パリに行こうと思ってたんだけど、ローマで倒れちゃってね。でも倒れて思った。戻れる場所が自分にはあるんだなあって。」と民代は告げる。
心は泣きそうになるのをこらえ「おかえりなさい。」と告げる。
民代の病状は思ったよりも悪化が早く、光野が緩和ケアを行うことに。
薫は心に「民代さん、やりたいことやりきれたかなあ」と呟く。
その後二人は民代の病室に行き、眠る民代の横で心は「やっぱり抗がん剤治療をした方がいいんじゃないかって思うことがある。」と呟くと、民代が「起きてるわよ～！本人の前でそんなこと話すんじゃないわよ。」とひょうひょうと告げる。
そして民代は「旅行に行かせてくれてありがとね。キャンサーギフトってあるじゃない？その言葉、大嫌い。だって、がんになんてなりたくなかったからね。でも、得られたものもなくはなかった。あなた達とか。ま、ギフトとまではいかないけどね。」と笑うのだった。
静はノットアローンというがん患者向けのフリーペーパーの編集者をしており、ベッドの上で執筆を行っていた。すると静は苦しがり、容態が急変するのだった。
カンファレンスで、一刻も早く妊娠の継続をやめるべきだという声が挙がるが、薫が代替案を出す。
心と薫は今は静の希望に寄り添うため、ひとまず妊娠を継続したままでの手術を行うことに決める。
そして手術が開始となり、出血していた部分の切除には成功したが、残存がんがあるため、今後も胎児の発育障害等のリスクが発生する。
静は敬に「小山内くん、今までありがとう。離婚してくれる？子供が産めなかったら離婚するって約束したでしょ？私も赤ちゃんもどうなるか分からない。小山内くんまだ若いんだよ？」と告げるのだが、敬は泣きながら「最初から約束なんて守るつもりなかった。俺はどんなことがあっても静さんと一緒にいる。今回だけは譲れないよ。」と言い、静の手をぎゅっと握るのだった。
一方、光野は民代の緩和ケアを行っていた。
光野は心に「一時的に痛みを軽減することはできるけど、いつ何が起こってもおかしくない状況だよ。」と告げるのだった。
莉子が民代に会いに来る
心がデスクで一人落ち込んでいると、阿久津がやって来る。
阿久津は心に「光野先生から聞いたよ。民代さんのこと。」と告げ、心は「腫瘍内科医になってからずっと民代さんのことみてたから。なんていうか…。」と告げる。
阿久津は「色んな感情がうまれてくるよね。病気の無常さを感じることもあれば、必死に生きようとする患者さんを見て感動することもある。それってすごいことだよね。ほら、食べる。」と言い、取材先でもらったというプリンを心に差し出すのだった。
翌日、莉子が民代の病室を訪れる。
民代は莉子に「メイク、上達したわね。私のスカーフ、使ってくれてるんだ。」と告げ、莉子は涙を流す。
莉子は民代に「旅行どうでしたか？」と尋ねると、民代は「最高。若い頃に色んなところ行ってきなさい。パリはね、思い出があってね。25の時、ナンパしてきた男と結婚寸前まで行ったのよ。出会いって面白いわよね。人生変えちゃうんだから。今日も何か出会いがあるかしら。ねえ莉子ちゃんメイクポーチ取って。」と告げる。
そして莉子は民代の唇に口紅を塗ってあげるのだった。
心と薫は一緒に民代のやりたいことリストを眺めていると、「パーティーがしたい」という項目を見つける。
阿久津が「病室でやろうか。看護師長にかけあってみるよ。」と言ってくれたのだった。
翌朝も莉子は民代に会いに来た。
莉子は民代に「今日は取材があります！」と元気よく告げる。
民代の病室でパーティ！
莉子は民代を外に連れ出し、敬が写真を撮影する。
莉子がノットアローンの編集者である静にメールを行い、取材が実現したのだった。
民代は静に「あなたなにで？」と尋ねると、静は「がんが再発したんです。赤ちゃんがやっとできた矢先で。無理いって妊娠継続させてもらってるんです。皆に迷惑けかちゃったなあ。」と答える。
そんな静に民代は「それの何がいけないの。がん患者だってやりたいことやっていい。欲しいもの欲しがっていい。」と告げ、静は「ありがとうございます。」と涙ぐむのだった。
写真撮影も楽しく進み、民代は生き生きとした表情を見せる。
心と薫もその様子を見て「やっぱり患者さんってすごい。」と微笑む。
その夜、心は結城に「ねえ結城先生、これって私達にもできる？」とあることを相談する。
その後、民代の病室でパーティーを行う。民代も綺麗に着飾り、心や薫、莉子、結城、奈海達もドレスアップする。
そして結城が準備してくれたＶＲで、民代は大好きなパリの朝日を見ることが出来たのだった。
民代は感激して涙を流し、「ありがとう。」と感謝を告げるのだった。
最後に皆で民代を囲んで写真を撮影する。
数日後、莉子は心にできあがったノットアローンを「静さんから預かってきました。」と言い、渡す。
民代のインタビュー記事には「一緒に戦ってくれる人がいるから、私達患者は毎日前を向いて歩けるの。私にはそういう人ができた。愛すべきやぶ医者がね。」と書いてあり、心は涙を流す。
その後、心は薫に「心先生、今度、大切な記念日があるんだ。」と告げる。心が「え、何の記念日？」と尋ねると、薫は「まだ内緒。」と答えるのだった。

先週民代は退院して念願の海外旅行に旅立ちましたが、思ったより病状が悪化するのが早くもう戻ってきてしまいました。
あんなに元気だった民代がすっかりよわよわしくなってしまい、その姿を見るだけで切なくて泣きそうになってしまいました。
でも、ノットアローンの取材時の笑顔はとても素敵でしたね！
また、民代の病室でのパーティーシーンは、感激してすごく泣いてしまいました。
VRってすごいですね。結城先生が今時の若者で本当によかったです！心と結城先生のおかげで民代はパリの朝日を見ることができましたもんね。
次で10話目になりますが、まだ最終回ではないようですね！
