直輝は佐島に直接問い詰める
8年前のあずさ誘拐事件の犯人・コアラ男の正体が哲也だったと断定する報道が流れた。
その報道は、神代によるスクープだったことを直輝は確信し、なぜガセネタを流したのか神代を問い詰める。
神代は、佐島に直撃して哲也が自身がコアラ男であると自白している遺書の文面を写した写真を見せられたのだという。
直輝はそれでも「ちがう！父さんは殺されたんだ！」と神代に食ってかかるが、神代は完全に哲也がコアラ男だと信じてしまっていた。
神代は直輝に「いや～グレーゾーンにシロクロつけるってのはこんな気分なんだね。あとはミスパンダの正体だ。覚悟しとけよ。」と告げるのだった。
翌日、直輝は佐島のもとを訪れ、「本当はあなたが父を殺したんじゃないですか？」と告げる。
すると佐島は「いつものようにあなたのやり方でシロクロつけてみてはいかがですか？」と告げ、直輝は、「承知しました、ミスターノーコンプライアンス」と承諾するのだった。
その頃、麻衣子が門田を殺したという事実に直面しレンは苦しんでいた。
レンは、拘置所に麻衣子に会いに行く。
麻衣子は「リコなの？レンなの？」と問いかけられレンは戸惑う。
麻衣子はレンに、「今すぐ彼氏を殺しなさい。」と、直輝を殺すように命じる。
直輝は自宅に戻り、哲也が残したUSBの中の動画を見返しており、その中の1つにパスワードでロックのかかった動画があった。
直輝はパスワードを探すことを決意する。
翌日レンは直輝の大学に行き、直輝の友達に会う。そして直輝の父のことを聞くのだった。
その頃、直輝はあずさに呼び出されていた。
直輝はあずさに「近付いたのは利用するためだった」と言い切る。そしてはっきりと佐島が哲也を殺した犯人だと思っていると告げるのだった。
あざさはそれでも直輝のことを好きだと言い、「直輝のためなら何でもするから私にも手伝わせて」と訴える。
直輝はレンに催眠にかけていたことを打ち明ける
あずさは佐島の不在時を狙って、法務大臣室に入り、直輝に頼まれた調べものをすることに。
そこであずさはとある数字の羅列を見つける…。
あずさは直輝にその数字を見せると、それは3つの場所を示していた。
一つはあずさが発見された場所、一つは哲也の遺体が発見された場所。
そしてもう一つの場所へ直輝が行ってみるとコアラ男誘拐事件と書かれた封筒が埋まっていた。
翌日、レンが直輝のもとを訪れ、二人はいつものパンケーキ屋に行く。
直輝はレンにシロップを使って催眠をかけ、ミスパンダにしていたことを打ち明ける。
レンは「え、私がミスパンダ！？」と動揺する。
そんなレンに直輝は「復讐が終わったら二度と君の前に現れない。だからもう一度だけ力を貸して欲しい。」と頼む。
レンは「分かりました。もし私が同じ立場だったら同じことを考えるかもしれないから。私は、直輝さんを信じています。直輝さんの力になりたいです。あの、無事に直輝さんの目的が果たせたらもう一度会ってもらえませんか？」と告げる。
直輝は承諾し、シロップでレンに催眠をかけ、ミスパンダ（リコ）が覚醒する。
哲也を殺したのはやはり佐島！
リコはパンダチャンネルを配信する。埋蔵金を発掘するというテーマだ。
リコはコアラ男誘拐事件の封筒とパンダのマスクを発掘する。
そして明日事実を明かすと視聴者に向けて告げるのだった。
その後、莉子は直輝に「復讐なんてやめたら？」と言うのだが、直輝は「俺はケリをつけないと前に進めない。」と告げる。
そしてリコを抱き締め、「お疲れ様」と告げ、眠らせるのだった。
リコをレンの部屋に送り届る。
翌日、直輝の元には佐島がやってくる。
直輝は「コアラ男の正体は、俺の父親じゃない。この写真に写ってる当時のあなたの部下ですね。この事件は知名度と好感度をあげるためのでっちあげ、あなたの自作自演だ。」と告げながら一枚の写真を見せる。
佐島は「その通りです。部下にお金を払って誘拐犯を演じてもらったんです。メディアを使って娘思いの父親のアピールをしました。なかなかの名演技だったでしょ？効果は覿面でした。ですが、一人だけ、この誘拐は偽装だと気付いた男がいたんです。」と告げる。
哲也はパンダのマスクを被って、佐島に直撃したのだ。
哲也は「コアラ男誘拐事件、あれ、隠してることあるよな？証拠があるんですよ。」と告げ、先ほどの直輝が持っていた写真を佐島に突き付けたのだ。
窮地に立たされた佐島がその場ですぐに哲也を射殺。
その償いのために、佐島は直輝を操り、グレーな奴らを裁いてきたのだという。
直輝は激昂するが、佐島は「よし！本当は誰よりも俺を裁いて欲しかった！俺はこの瞬間を待ってた！お前もだろ？この瞬間のために生きてきたんだろ？裁け、裁け、おい、裁け」と告げる。
直輝は佐島を殴り倒し、首を絞める。
佐島が死にそうになった時、直輝は「おい、お前何かまだ隠してるだろ。」と告げる。
しかし佐島は何も言わずに自殺してしまうのだった。
哲也が残した動画のパスワードが判明！
その後、佐島が全て自白した映像がニュースで流れる。
神代はそのニュースを見て驚愕する。
そして、佐島が意識不明で救急搬送されたことも報道されるのだった。
直輝は、哲也が持っていた自分と哲也の2ショットの写真の裏に「3.直輝へ」と書いてあるのを見つける。
哲也が残した動画のパスワードに自分の名前を入れてみるとロックが解除された。
そこには哲也が映っており、「直輝に伝えておきたいことがある。直輝…。」と話し始める。
その頃、レンが学際にいると、コアラの着ぐるみを来た人物に後ろから火薬を嗅がされて誘拐されてしまうのだった。

#シロクロ は考察モノとして見ると5話くらいから面白くなったと言われるけど、横浜流星と清野菜名のアクションモノとして見たら4話までも疾走感があって面白い。
