高齢者が起こした交通事故
老人が交通事故を起こし、女性を死なせてしまう。高齢者のドライバーの事故が相次いでいるため、事故調査委員会が開かれる。
資料を見た真奈子は、これは高齢者の事故なのかと疑問を持つ。資料には、運転手の牧野はブレーキがきかなくなったと証言していたのだった。
野津田と一緒に現場に向かった真奈子。現場に残るプレーキ痕を見て、サイドブレーキかもしれないと主張する。
その後真奈子は、被害者の家を訪ねて夫に話を聞く。事故当時一緒にいた息子は、デスガイザーが来てママをひき殺したとふさぎこんでいると言う。
夫は、運転手の牧野を許さないと涙ながらに訴えるのだった。
牧野の家族は、危険だから車の運転はしないようにと注意していたのに聞かなかったのだと言う。あとは弁護士に任せていると言い、奥の部屋から守康が現れる。
ブレーキがきかなかったという証言を真奈子が気にしていることを伝えると、あの証言は取り下げ、早期示談に持ち込むつもりだと言う守康。
ブレーキの不備を訴えることは、SHIMIZU自動車を敵に回すことになると心配する野津田に、アメリカで起こった事故のことを話す真奈子。
事故を起こした男性は死ぬ間際にブレーキの不具合を言い残したが、大手自動車の圧力で正しい検証が行われなかったと言う。
その事故を起こした男性は、真奈子の父親だった。
事故車両を調べる真奈子
SHIMIZU自動車に向かう途中、父親の最期を思い出す真奈子。向かう途中、事故車両の検証を行う予定の研究所から連絡があり、検証を行えないと言われてしまう。
検証を行う予定だった研究所の所長は、SHIMIZU自動車のOBだった。真奈子は、車両を預かってもらっていた整備工場の九坂にここで検査をさせて欲しいと頼み込む。
郁美と共に、検査をする真奈子。そこに野津田も差し入れを持って現れ、納得いくまでやるようにと応援するのだった。
真奈子たちの様子を見て、声をかける九坂。SHIMIZU自動車がコスト重視で部品会社を変えていることを知っているかと尋ねる。
なぜそんな内部事情を知っているのかと聞くと、九坂は元々SHIMIZU自動車にいたことを打ち明ける。
ボルトの一つだけがきれいなことに気づいた真奈子は、事故の後誰かがボルトを締め直したのではないかと考える。
SHIMIZU自動車の技術部長である沼尻に話を聞く真奈子。ボルトの写真を見せ、締め直したのではないかと指摘する真奈子だったが、検証の際に触っただけだと言う。
そこに社長の前川が現れ、検証は喜里子の協力の元検証したと説明する。
事故の検証
喜里子の元を訪れた真奈子は、喜里子がSHIMIZU自動車とロボットカーの共同開発をしていることを指摘する。
だが喜里子は、検証結果には問題はなかったことを説明する。検証結果を自分にも見せて欲しいと言う真奈子だった。
資料に目を通す真奈子は、守康に連絡をして牧野から話を聞かせてもらうよう頼んで欲しいと野津田に指示する。
守康と牧野を訪ねた真奈子と野津田。牧野はブレーキがきかなかったと言い、あの時は間違いなくブレーキを踏んだが重く、サイドブレーキを引いたが間に合わなかったと懸命に訴える。
牧野から事故当時の詳細を聞き、再現実験を行うことになる。父親のことを思い出しまともに運転できないと考えた野津田は自分が運転すると言うが、ライダースーツに着替えた真奈子が現れる。
A級ライセンスを持っていると言い車に乗り込み、事故当日と同じルートを同じ状況で走行する。事故に遭った女性に見立てたマネキンに向かって走らせながらブレーキをかけると、マネキンの手前で止まる。
デスガイザーの正体
検証後、タイミングチェーンが緩んでいると指摘する九坂。エンジンをかけ、タイミングチェーンが緩んだ音を聞くと、デスガイザーの音と似ていたのだった。
販売2年でタイミングチェーンが緩むのはあり得ないと指摘する九坂。チェーンの緩みとブレーキがきかなくなることに因果関係を考える真奈子。
そこに志保から連絡があり、真奈子がホストと会っているところがネットに載ってしまったと言われる。
慌てて記事を見ると、ホストクラブでホストと話をしている真奈子の写真とともに、記事が掲載されていたのだった。
ミス・ジコチョー9話で判明したこと

・真奈子の父親も、ブレーキがきかなくなり事故を起こして亡くなった
・真奈子はA級ライセンスを持っていた

実際にも高齢者の事故は多くニュースで見ますが、同じように自動車メーカーのリコールも目にします。
それぞれに原因のなすりつけ合いになることもありそうですが、利害関係関係なく、一つ一つ調査をすることが必要なのだと思いました。

どうしても池袋の事故を連想させられる。
車のせいにしてる点も元院長と同じ。
池袋の事故が逮捕されずに野放しでモヤモヤしてる中で、
このドラマをあえて作ったのは何故なんだろう。
これまで好きだったのになんだか気分が悪くなりました。

池袋の事故を連想する。ドラマでも運転手が逮捕されていない。
９話は非常識極まりない。１０話では車の欠陥を突き止めるのだろう。「私、失敗しちゃった」は、失敗が許されない命を預かる仕事じゃないから言える事。8話まで楽しく見ていたのに、とっても気分が悪い。事故解決していないし、過去の事故でもない、今こんな話をドラマにするべきじゃないと思う。
志保が、伝票みたいの見ながら【また…】と言ってたから、経費なのは、間違いないような…😰真奈子なら研究の為なら手段選ばないので、ホスト代も経費で落とす！と言い切りそう… #ミスジコチョー
