2014年10月
火野の娘、つくしの写真を見せながら、サクラの存在がなければ娘と一緒にいることが出来なかった、と話す。
2014年10月。
憧れの花村建設に入社して6年目、地元の島に橋がかかる予定もまだ決まっていない。
サクラは花村建設から子会社の花村ホームに出向し、毎日仕事をしているが、相変わらず忖度しない日々を送っている。
通勤途中の火野に会い「その性格やめたら？」と言われたが、やめられないのだった。
火野は仕事で「女性活躍推進セミナー」の講演会を行うことになり、そのリーダーを黒川に押し付けられる。
講演する椿美栄子は、うるさいことで有名で、しかもこのセミナーは社長から話を出たもので、正直面倒くさいものだった。
セミナーの打ち合わせを広報と共同で行い、子会社のサクラも参加することになった。
なぜ女子だけでやるかサクラは納得いかないが、広報の百合がサクラに話し、サクラは珍しく自分の意見を発言するのを我慢した。
話し合いの最中、椿美栄子の秘書である米田が来ることになり、打ち合わせをつづけることになった。
米田は、椿側の要望書がすべて呑めないと聞くと、それは困ると言い出し打ち合わせはギスギスしだす。
我慢していたサクラだったが、米田の言葉に納得いかないことを伝える。
その時、社長が現れサクラをたしなめ、火野に「よろしく頼むよ」と言うので火野は苦笑いをするのだった。
打ち合わせが終わり、百合がサクラがめずらしく我慢していたことを気づき、サクラを励ますためにも合コンでも行かないかと誘う。
途中、葵がやってきて3人で話す。
百合が去り際に「その気があったら連絡して」と言ったので、葵がどういうことかサクラに聞くと、合コンに誘われたことを話す。
サクラを好きな葵は焦るが、サクラにその気はないこと、今は誰とも付き合う気はないことを知りホッとしつつも落胆するのだった。
出向先の会社に戻ったサクラは火野から電話があり、社長の意向でサクラをセミナーのチームから外すよう言われたこと伝える。
このまま好き勝手やってたら会社自体クビになあるかもしれないわよ、と忠告されるサクラだった。
母と娘
蓮太郎は菊夫に葵もサクラが好きらしいと伝え、菊夫は焦りサクラに「今度どっか行かないか」と声をかけるが、サクラに「なぜですか」と返されてしまう。
菊夫は意を決してサクラに告白しようとしても、はっきり言えず「仲間だから」「心配だから」としか言えないのだった。
火野は米田から椿美栄子からの要望が細かすぎて苛立つ。
そんな時、娘のつくしの小学校から連絡があり慌てて行くと、つくしが友達を殴ったというのだった。
友達に暴言を吐かれてやり返しただけだけど、それの何が悪いのかと言われ、火野は「相手にするな」「人はいつまでも好きなことだけをやってられない」と話す。
その時、またも米田から連絡があり、仕事に戻ろうとしたが、つくしが嫌がり一緒に連れて行くことに。
会場を下見したいという椿を連れてきたが、椿がこの会場はあまり好まないと言われ、火野は困る。
結局そのままの会場でやることになったが、サクラが現れてまた納得いかない点を指摘すると、米田は怒ったものの椿はサクラに「ぜひ講演会にも来てね」と話すのだった。
このまま食事でもという椿に、火野は子供がいるのでと断ろうとするも、結局断れず、サクラがつくしを預かることになるのだった。
お母さんなんて大嫌い
サクラの部屋についたつくしは、サクラの部屋をもの珍しそうに見て、一緒にごはんを食べる。
コロッケを食べながら、つくしはサクラの両親の写真を見て「もう死んじゃったの？」と聞き、サクラは「はい、私が8歳のときに」と答える。
つくしは「大人になるってつらい？」と聞く。
自分の思い通りに生きるのはつらいか、と聞かれてサクラは「よくわかりません」としか答えられない。
その頃、リクエスト店では菊夫と葵がサクラに電話しようか迷っていた。
ちょうどその時、同じくリクエスト店にいた蓮太郎のもとにサクラから電話があり、つくしと一緒に遊んでいたが上手く遊べないので来てくれないかと頼まれる。
結局、葵や菊夫と一緒に蓮太郎がサクラのもとへ行き遊んでいると、声がうるさいとお隣から苦情が来た。
蓮太郎らが帰ろうとしたとき、火野が現れつくしを連れて帰ろうとしたが、つくしは嫌がる。
「お母さんの仕事って人にペコペコすること？」と言われ、カッとなった火野はつくしを叩いてしまう。
つくしは「お母さんなんて大嫌い」と言い、部屋を飛び出してしまったのだった。
翌日、サクラが出向先で仕事をしていると、蓮太郎から連絡が入りリクエスト店に来てほしいと言われる。
サクラが行くと火野がハイペースで酒を飲んでいた。
火野は「つくしがパパの方がいいって出て行った」と言い、自分の母親として上手くできないことを落ち込んでいた。
仕事を頑張っていたが、自分なんかどんなに頑張っても何も意味がないんだ、と心が折れてしまったと。
結婚して子供ができて、離婚してもつくしだけは何とか守ろうと決めていたが、つくしとも上手くいかず、結局何もなくなっちゃったという火野。
その時火野の携帯が鳴り、米田から話すテーマについて変えたいと唐突に言われ、火野はぐったりしつつも出て行く。
一番つらいのは自分に嘘をつくこと
サクラは帰宅後、爺ちゃん（北野柊作）に「自分の思い通りに生きるのは難しいのか」とFAXすると、爺ちゃんから
「生きているとつらいことばかりだ、でも、一番つらいのは自分に嘘をつくことだ」
と返信が来た。
セミナーの当日、またも無理難題を言ってくる米田に、愛想笑いをして要望を受ける火野。
その時、サクラが現れてつくしも一緒に連れてきた。
「お母さんが仕事で謝ってばかりに見えたかもしれないけど、それは会社のために自分を殺しているからだよ」
会社のためにお母さんはとても大変な仕事をしているんだと話したサクラ。
そして「お母さんと一緒にいたいなら、自分にうそをついてはいけない」とも、サクラはつくしに話したのだった。
母親としての自信がなくなりかけた火野に「お母さんはそばにいてくれるだけでいいんです」と話す。
亡くなった自分の母親について話すと、サクラは講演会場に向かうのだった。
椿の講演ははじまったが、予定していた時間よりも早く終わってしまう。
戸惑う百合と火野に、椿は自分の著書を会場でアピール。
結局、椿の宣伝ではないかと憤慨し、その様子を見ていたサクラが何か言おうとしたが、その前に火野が声を上げる。
「先生は本の宣伝で来たのですか？」
これでは毎日時間外勤務をしながら女子社員たちに失礼ではないかとハッキリ言う。
思いのたけを吐き出した火野に、社長は「こんなこと言ってどうなるか分かっているのか！」と怒る。
火野は「かまいません！」と啖呵を切って会場を後にした。
追いかけてきたつくしに「かっこよかったよ」と言われ、火野は「つくしはつくしのままでいい」と話す。
母と娘の仲が戻り、仲良く帰っていく2人をサクラは見つめるのだった。
後日、火野はサクラに「あなたは10年後もずっとそのままでいてほしい。これからも大変なことが起きるかもしれないけど、そんな時は私を頼りなさい」と話す。
何があっても自分の生き方を貫くよう言われたサクラは、泣き出して「会社に入ってはじめて褒められた。一番うれしい」と言い、火野と一緒に写真を撮るのだった。
サクラは、爺ちゃんに言えなかった出向のことをFAXに書き、火野のことを伝える。
実は爺ちゃんも心臓の調子が悪いことを隠しているのだった。
サクラの携帯に黒川から連絡があり、本社に来いと言われる。
火野が社史編纂室に異動になったことと、故郷に橋がかかることを伝えられた。
そんなとき、爺ちゃんからのFAXで「橋はかからない」と届く夢を見て、サクラは慌てて飛び起きるのだった。
ドラマ「同期のサクラ」6話で判明したこと
・子会社に出向になったサクラは自分の生き方に迷い始める
・火野は「女性活躍セミナー」の担当になり、講演する椿の要望に振り回される。
・火野の娘つくしが火野の働く姿にがっかりし、それを言われて火野はつくしを叩いてしまう。
・セミナー当日、椿と社長の行動にキレた火野が思ってたことを全て吐き出す。
・そんな母の姿につくしは見直し、火野は娘と仲直りするのだった。
ドラマ「同期のサクラ」6話の感想
ここまで損な役割が多かった火野さんが、我慢に我慢を重ねてブチ切れるシーンは気持ちよかったですね！
今までの回は、最後にサクラにスッキリさせられることが多かったですが、今回は火野さんの啖呵に「おお～！」と拍手でした。
あの会場のもやもやした空気、社長と椿のニコニコとの対比が凄かったですね。
だからこそ火野さんがハッキリ言ってくれてスカッとしたわけですが。
それにしても、振り回されて頑張ってきた火野さんも、会社に盾突くと速攻で異動になるの世知辛いですね……。
次回はいよいよサクラの島に橋がかかる話になるのでしょうか。
爺ちゃんの心臓も心配ですね……。
菊夫と葵の恋のライバル関係も楽しいのですが、進展はあるのでしょうか？
