ユリカは仕事に生きると決め、キャリアウーマン風な格好でチロリアン不動産に出社する。
すると安藤から、ユリカが配ったチラシを見て物件を買いたいという夫婦から連絡が入ったことを告げられ、ユリカはなんとか契約を取ろうと決意する。
それというのもユリカはあと三日で仮採用期間が終了するため、ここで結果が出せなければクビになってしまうのだ。
安藤は斉藤真（マコチ）にユリカをサポートするよう指示し、ユリカはマコチから物件紹介する際のアドバイスを受ける。
マコチの優しい先輩ぶりに、焼き肉屋のバイト時代にマコチと先輩後輩の関係にあったことを思だすのだった。
そしてユリカは「先輩と後輩という関係に立ち戻る！一緒に仕事をして信頼を育むのは、恋愛よりもずっと尊い関係のはず！」と決心する。
そのことをひろ美に話すと、ひろ美にはユリカが自分の気持ちを押し殺しているように感じたため、ユリカに「逃げてないで立ち向かいなよ。」と厳しく言い放つ。
翌日、ユリカはマコチのサポートの元、問い合わせをしてくれた花澤健司・美希夫妻に物件を紹介する。美希さんは妊婦だった。
夫婦は物件をとても気に入ってくれていたので、さっそく申し込み書を書いてくれた。これで決まりかと思うや否や、彼らは他にも申し込んでいる物件があると言うのだ。
ユリカは『やっぱり私の人生だめだ…』と落ち込むのだが、マコチは「物件を磨こう！物件の良さを頑張って伝えようよ！」と明るく提案するのだった。

山下は、食べ歩きマニアが集う【食べログ会】に会社の同僚・千鶴を連れていくことに。初めはユリカを連れていくつもりだったのだが、マコチとの恋を応援すると決めたため、ユリカではなく千鶴を連れて行ったのだ。
その帰り道、山下は千鶴に「私、山下さんのこと好きになっちゃいました。」と告白され、山下は驚愕する。
翌日、ユリカとマコチは【物件を磨く】作業に奔走する。
ユリカは美希さんが庭を気にしていたことを思いだし、草むしりをすることにしたのだが、あともう少しで終わるという時に眩暈を起こし倒れてしまうのだった。
自分で起き上がることが出来ないユリカのもとに妄想のマコチが現れ「大丈夫だよ。大丈夫。」と言ってくれるのだが、ユリカは『全然大丈夫じゃない。やっとわかったよひろ美。妄想は私を助けてくれない…』と薄れゆく意識の中でぼんやり考える。
すると目の前に本物のマコチが現れ「大丈夫か！？」と言ってユリカをお姫様抱っこして病院へと連れていってくれたのだった。
翌日ユリカが草むしりの続きをしようとすると、マコチやムダマッチョ達がいて草むしりを手伝ってくれていた。
そして草むしりの後は家中をピカピカに磨き、再び花澤夫妻を内覧へとお連れする。
ご夫妻は大変気に入ってくれて、美希さんはユリカに草むしりをしてくれたことを感謝するのだった。
そして無事に契約へと進むのだった。
会社に戻ってから、マコチはユリカを褒め、「だけど一人で抱え込みすぎ。そういうとこ昔から変わらない。」と笑う。
ユリカが「変わらないのはマコチだよ。変わっちゃったって言ってごめん。一緒に仕事してそうじゃないって分かったから。」と言うと、マコチは「お互い変わったとこもあるし変わってないとこもある。なのにこうやって一緒に頑張れてることが嬉しい。これからも一人で抱え込まずに先輩になんでも言って。」と微笑む。
するとユリカは突拍子もなく「好きです。」と告白してしまい、驚くマコチ。
ユリカは『やっちまった！』とパニックになり、脳内会議を繰り広げるのだが何も言葉が出てこない。
マコチはマコチで脳内会議をするのだが、マコチから出た言葉は「ユリカ、ファミレス行かない？」だった。
ユリカが謎の女の正体を知る！

二人でファミレスに行き、ユリカと山下が付き合っていることをマコチが誤解していたため、まずはその誤解を解く。
そしてさっきの返事が欲しいと言うのだが、マコチは「ごめん、今は返事ができない。」と答える。
ユリカが「一緒に住んでる人がいるから？」と問いかけると、マコチは「それは違う。ただの同居人だよ。向こうもただの同居人だと思ってる。」と答え、ユリカはホッとした表情を浮かべる。
そんなユリカを見てマコチは「もしかして引っかかってた？…可愛いなって思っちゃった。」と告げるのだった。
そしてマコチはユリカに「告白してくれてありがとう」と微笑み、その日は解散となるのだった。
マコチは自宅に戻ってからさくらに「さくらさん、告白ってされたことある？」と問いかけるのだった。
迎えたユリカの誕生日。
ユリカは偶然、山下の元カノ・来栖むぎを偶然本屋で見かけ『なんで東京に！？』と驚く。
山下に伝えなきゃとあたふたしていると、マコチと同じ柔軟剤の香が漂う謎の女（さくら）に突然話しかけられ「一緒にご飯食べませんか？」と声をかけられ、ユリカは謎の女と高級料理屋に行くことに。
そこでユリカは謎の女の正体が【丸の内さくら】だということを知り、テンションが爆上げする。
そしてさくらも自分と同じモトカレマニアだということを知る。
マコチはさくらの元カレに似ているらしいのだが、さくらはマコチのことを恋愛対象としては見ていないらしい。マコチには何も求めていないというのだ。
しかしさくらは、お手洗いにたった時に鏡に向かって「ここで引くわけにはいかない！」と自分を奮い立たせていた。
さくらはユリカと別れ際、「最後にモトカレマニアの先輩から一つアドバイスするわ。一度こじれた縁は元に戻らない。」と告げるのだった。
マコチがユリカにキス！

ユリカはさくらと別れた後、一人で帰路についていた。
そしてマコチと別れてからの5年間を振り返っていた。
すると家の前にマコチがいることに気が付き驚くユリカ。マコチは「今日誕生日でしょ？」と言いながら、プレゼントをユリカに差し出す。
可愛いリボンがラッピングされた箱を開けると、その中にはレーザー測量系が入っていた。
何も反応もしないユリカを見て「あれ、ずれてた？ケーキとかの方が良かったかな。」と慌てるマコチにユリカは「ずれてるよ…。」と言って泣き出す。
マコチは「どうしたの？」と焦り、ユリカは「だって、またマコチからプレゼント貰えるなんて」と嬉し涙をポロポロ流す。
マコチは「そんな顔するなって」と言いながらユリカにキスをするのだった。
その場面をひろ美が目撃し「ちょっとあんた達どういうこと？付き合うことになったんだ！」と驚くのだが、マコチは「付き合うとは言ってない！」とまさかの否定。
そんなマコチにひろ美は激怒し「なにそれ！最低だよ！キスしたくせに付き合うつもりはないってどういうことよ！私の親友をこれ以上振り回さないで！！」と掴みかかり、マコチは「ごめん」と呟いて立ち去ってしまう。
ユリカは泣き崩れ、ひろ美はユリカを抱き締め「頑張ったね」と優しく背中をさする。
ユリカは「私馬鹿だ…。大馬鹿だ…。」と泣きじゃくる。
そして『こうなってようやくわかった。私はやっぱり今でもマコチが好きだって。』と、マコチへの想いを自覚するのだった。
一方、さくらは一人でバーにいた。すると何と元カレが現れ「え、タバタ？」と声をかけられる…。

まさかこんな展開になるとは驚きました！マコチ、ユリカにキスしておいて「付き合うとは言ってない！」なんてひどいですよね…。
ひろ美がマコチをボロクソに罵ってくれたのでちょっとすっきりしました。ひろ美本当に親友思いの素敵な女性ですよね。
いやあしかし本当にユリカすごく可哀想でした。自分がユリカだったらと思うと耐えられないです。マコチの株がすごく下がりました。
また、さくらの前には元カレが現れましたね！さくらの今後の恋模様もすごく気になります！
