婚活アプリに登録？
「やっくんのブログ」の訴状の件でまどかを尋ねる桑野。いい人がいたら結婚したいと言うまどかに、いい人と出会うために努力はしているのかと聞く。だが具体的な話は聞けず、ガッカリして事務所に帰る。
英治たちが勝手に、桑野のプロフィールで婚活アプリに登録したと知らされる。アプリをバカにしたものの、気になる桑野。有希江のカフェに行った桑野だったが、すっかり元気な様子の有希江を見て、安心して帰ってくるのだった。
家に帰った桑野がアプリを確認すると、23人の女性からメールが届いていた。その中のヨガインストラクターに興味を持ち、メールを開く桑野。
女性とメールのやり取りをする桑野
翌日も仕事をしながら、メールを確認する桑野。事務所にまどかが訪ねて来る。英治が設計を担当している住宅で近隣住民とのトラブルがあり、相談に乗って貰ったのだった。仕事の話が終わり、桑野の婚活アプリの話で盛り上がる一同。こっそり女性とやり取りしていることを知った英治たちは、会ってみたらどうかと勧めるのだった。
有希江のカフェに行くとまどかが来ていて、有希江にも婚活アプリの話をしていたと言う。口を揃えて会ったらどうかと言う有希江の言葉に、会ってみることを考える桑野。
警察に連行される桑野
ハロウィン当日、桑野は鏡の前で何度も服を着替え、出掛けて行く。待ち合わせの場所に行き待っていると、英治たちも興味本位で駆けつけ様子を見守る。そこに桑野が英治に電話をかける。電話の様子から察した桑野が辺りを見回すと、英治が見に来ていることに気づく桑野だった。
その時突然スーツを着た男性が2人近づいてきて、桑野を羽交い絞めにしてどこかに連れて行ってしまう。慌てた英治は、まどかに連絡する。桑野が連れて行かれたところは、警察だった。何をしていたのか聞かれる桑野だったが、黙秘する。
待ち合わせに使ったホテルで、お見合いに来た女性を勘違いさせて外に連れ出す事件が多発していて、その男の人相が桑野に似ていたのだった。そこにまどかが現れて誤解が解け、釈放される桑野だった。
会わずにフラれる桑野
待ち合わせをすっぽかしたことで、謝罪メールを送った桑野だったが、相手の女性も行かなかったとメールが来る。並行してやり取りをしていた男性から、プロポーズされたと言うのだった。
その頃早紀は、芝居の役から外されて落胆していた。泣いて落ち込む早紀。
ペットショップに顔を出した桑野。値下がりしていたパグが、若い女性に買われて行ったことを聞かされ、複雑な気持ちになる。部屋に帰っても泣いている早紀。だがその隣には、あのパグがいたのだった。

でも意外と女性に興味があったり、結婚を考えている桑野の一面も垣間見えた気がします。有希江に対しても少し興味を持ち始めているように見えますし、今後3角関係に発展していくのでしょうか。
気になっていたパグですが、隣の早紀が飼うことになり、また桑野との名コンビ復活の予感です。

前作から10年くらいの期間が開いているのですが、前作と変わらない演技をする阿部さんの演技力が凄いです。今作でも余計なことや、言わなくても良いようなことを話したりして人間関係をこじらせている主人公が面白いです。前作に引き続き登場する人物もいるのですが、今作から登場する人物たちの活躍が楽しみです。
