スカーレットはどういうドラマ？
あらすじ
第二次世界大戦後、大阪から滋賀県信楽に移り住んだ少女：川原喜美子が信楽焼に惹かれ、男の世界と言われる陶芸の世界へ飛び込む。青年陶芸家と結婚し、息子を授かるも別れ、貧乏な中にも自らの窯を開き、独自の世界を切り開こうとする。

慶乃川の自慢の一品は・・・
前回、草間の様子を見に外に駆け出した喜美子。
草間がいた場所は、前に喜美子が陶芸家・慶乃川善（よしのがわぜん）と出会った場所で草間はそこで慶乃川と話していた。
草間は土を触って「昔ここも琵琶湖だったと聞いたことがあります。それでこういったと独特の肌の粗さがあるんでしょうか。温かい感じがします。」と言うと慶乃川は気を良くして草間に沢山土を手渡した。
草間は「どんなものを焼いているんですか？見てみたいなあ。」と慶乃川に言うと、影からでてきた喜美子は「見せてあげてください。」とお願いした。
慶乃川の家に呼ばれた2人。草間は満州にいた頃陶芸家の作品に触れ「心が動かされた。」と言う。
喜美子はその言葉に反応し「それは心に栄養が染み渡ったんちゃう？」と言った。
「おまたせー！」慶乃川が奥から自慢気に新聞紙に包まれた焼き物を持ってきた。中身を見た喜美子は「歪んでるやん。こんなんゴミや。最悪や～。」と辛辣に貶す。
その様子に草間は驚き厳しい目で喜美子を見ていた。
子供だからといってああいった態度はいけないよ
喜美子たちは家に帰ると草間は「今日はひどかったね。」と喜美子に言う。喜美子は「あー慶乃川さんの作品？ひどかったなー。心動かせるどころかがっかりや。」と笑う。
草間は「人の心を動かすのは作品じゃない。人の心だよ。作った人の心が作品を通してこちらの心を動かす。ひどかったのは君だ。子供だからといってああいった態度はいけないよ。一生懸命作った人に失礼だ。」とゆっくりと叱った。
喜美子は翌日になっても学校で落ち込んでいた。しかし、照子が信作に「紙芝居のお菓子が新しくなったん知ってる？ポンせんべい言うの。」と話してるのを聞くと目を輝かせる。喜美子は放課後、直子を連れて紙芝居を観に行く。
他の子供たちはお金を払って紙芝居のおじさんにポンせんべいを貰うが、お金がなくポンせんべいを貰えない喜美子は「妹だけでも頂戴。こっそり。ええやん。」と言う。
すると後ろから、他の子供達が「あつかましいぞ。」と煽り立てる。喜美子は「紙芝居だけでも見たい。」と言う直子を連れて家に帰った。
家に帰ると直子は「紙芝居見たかった！」と喜美子に怒った。
何やら始めた喜美子
喜美子は慶乃川の家に行くと「すいませんでした！」と昨日、作品を貶したことを謝った。慶乃川は「気にしんでええよ。もうな、焼き物はわかいもんに任せて田舎に帰ろうおもてん。」と笑う。
慶乃川は「ずっとな陶工やりながら陶芸家に憧れてた。陶芸家はお金になれへん。陶芸家になんかなったらあかんで。」と言う。
喜美子は「お金にならんことはしません！ほんまにすんませんでした!」と言う。そして、部屋にあった紙を貰って帰った。
家に帰ると母マツを連れて大野雑貨店に行き、使いかけの絵の具を貰った。
その日の夜、喜美子は慶乃川から貰った紙に鉛筆で何かを描き始める。
読み書きできない喜美子にも得意なことがあった・・・。

まだ、陶芸には興味がない喜美子ですが何やら芸術には才能がありそうですね。「お金にならないことはしません！」と言った喜美子ですが、これは完全にフラグでしょう。
慶乃川の焼き物を見て、ボロクソに貶していた喜美子ですが
- 歪んでる
- 剥げてる
など、すぐに指摘できたのは陶芸を見る目があったということだと思います。
しかし、慶乃川役の村上ジョージさん、本職の役者さんみたいに演技うまかったですね。
