葉子VS賢治
風太の付き添いを終えた葉子は賢治からのメッセージに気を重くする。
伴野と一緒にいた鐘子は、突然の葉子からの電話に出ると、すぐ来てほしいと言われ戸惑う。
賢治にバレたのかと問い詰めると、葉子はそれには触れず、早く来てほしいと繰り返す。
鐘子は葉子と一緒に行くのを嫌がるが、葉子に「私たちの夫婦生活は鐘子にかかっている」と脅され、しぶしぶ向かうことに。
本当は伴野に告白しようとしていたのだが、うまくいかず、鐘子は落ち込むのだった。
タクシーに乗った葉子と鐘子。
鐘子は葉子に賢治とどうなっているのか問い詰めるが、葉子はのらりくらりと質問をかわす。
家についた二人を賢治は待っており「嘘つき奥さんのご帰宅だ」と呟く。
いつも通り笑顔の賢治に、葉子もいつも通り振る舞う。
緊張感のある夫婦の空気に、鐘子は居心地の悪さを感じるのだった。
賢治に「いったい何でこんなことになってるのか」と聞かれ、葉子は鐘子がメンタル的にまいっていて、と鐘子が原因と言ってしまう。
突然話を振られて困る鐘子に、賢治は心配そうに「どうしたの鐘子ちゃん」と話を聞こうとする。
不倫なのかと聞かれ、困惑する鐘子。
そんななか、賢治は葉子に「不倫している人はどう思う？」と聞き、葉子は「最低でしょ」と返すのだった。
なんとか乗り切ったと安心する鐘子だったが、葉子は「まだ疑っていると思う」と言い「嘘をつき続けるのも優しさよ」と話す。
そんな姉が信じられない鐘子は、風太と別れないのか葉子に聞くが、葉子は「このまま付き合う」と悪気ない声で言うのだった。
姉夫婦の危機をやりすごした鐘子は、一人になると伴野からもらった指輪を眺め、もう一度この指輪の意味を考えるのだった。
賢治と風太のニアミス
葉子と賢治のかわりに旅行へ行った鐘子の親夫婦。
その熱海土産を食べながら、葉子と賢治はいつも通りの様子だった。
そんな二人を見て鐘子は複雑な気持ちになる。
鐘子は仕事中、まさ子に灯里の店に誘われ頷くと、賢治から「お昼に時間あるか」とメッセージが来て固まる。
鐘子は賢治と会い、賢治に「不倫しているの？」と改めて聞かれ、戸惑う。
悩み事は相談してよね、と言われ大丈夫と返すと「葉子はどうなんだろう」と言われ、動揺してしまう。
葉子のことを誤魔化しながら、あわてて会社に帰ろうとすると、風太が偶然現れて声をかけてきたので鐘子は焦るのだった。
慌ててその場から立ち去る鐘子だったが、風太に追いかけられてつかまってしまう。
賢治は風太の声が以前葉子の電話から聞こえたものに似てる気がして足が止まるのだった。
風太は葉子が独身だと思っており、葉子との将来を考えている様子に、鐘子は複雑な気持ちになるのだった。
嘘からはじまった恋
まさ子と灯里の店に向かった鐘子は、指輪の意味を直接聞こうとしたが、店に伴野はいなかった。
まさ子と灯里で話が盛り上がるなか、伴野が帰ってくる。
食事を誘うものの、断られてしまった鐘子は、まさ子に「喧嘩でもした？」と心配されるのだった。
いつもよりそっけない伴野の様子に不安になる鐘子は、勇気を出して指輪のことを聞こうとしたが、急いでいるとその場からいなくなる。
急に冷たくなった伴野に深く落ち込む鐘子は、嘘がある限り本気で伴野と向き合えないことを悟るのだった。
葉子は仕事が上手くいき、今日は早く帰ろうとしたものの、賢治から「今夜はあのことを話そう」とメッセージが来て固まる。
鐘子に電話した葉子は「また私に相談があることにして」といつもより弱気な声で頼むのだった。
伴野は一之瀬を呼び出し、相談に乗ってほしいとお願いする。
病気以外のこと、恋愛で相談に乗ってほしいという伴野。
鐘子が結婚していること、指輪を渡して「大好きです」と告げてしまったことを話す。
本当は旅行の間だけの恋愛のついもりだったこと、手術のこともあってやりたいことをやろうと決めていたこと、偶然出会った鐘子に恋をしてしまったことを話した。
日本には不倫という言葉があると知って、自分がいなくなっても彼女が独りぼっちになることはない、そう思っていた伴野。
だから最初は鐘子が結婚していると知ってホッとした。
嘘で始まった恋だから嘘で終わらせようと思っていたのに、いつしか本気で鐘子に恋をしてしまったのだ。
一之瀬は「不倫はよくない」と前置きをしながら、鐘子に出会って生きたいと強く思うようになったのではと伴野に言う。
伴野は「それでも、彼女は他人の奥さんだから」と呟くのだった。
葉子に居酒屋に呼び出された鐘子は、葉子に不倫のことを「いい加減やめなよ」と言うと、葉子は「私悪くないわよ」と返す。
葉子は「愛してないのよ、賢治が私を」と言うのだった。
本当の幸せをつかみたい
賢治は葉子から「鐘子に呼び出されたので帰りが遅くなる」というメッセージを読んでいた。
その鐘子は葉子の言葉に怪訝に思い、さらに問い詰める。
賢治は子供が欲しいのよ、と葉子がつぶやく。
「僕にそっくりな子供が欲しいから結婚したんだよ」と、言われたことを鐘子に言う。
2年半前、結婚したばかりの頃。
葉子に「早く子供がほしい、息子がほしい」と言ってた賢治。
子作りのためだけの夜の生活で、それ以外はセックスレスだったこと。
うんざりした葉子は「まだ子供は作りたくない」と、二人きりの時間を大切にしたいと賢治に告げた。
賢治は「わかった」と頷き「これから半年はそういう時間にしよう」と期限をつけられ、その時「私は彼のライフプランの一部なのだ」と葉子は悟ったのだった。
賢治が言ってることは間違っていない、条件のいい男を選んだ私も賢治と同じなのだと。
葉子は「賢治のライフプランに離婚はないので、嘘の結婚生活と本気の不倫をこれからも続ける」と宣言する。
風太といると幸せだという姉に、鐘子は「馬鹿だよお姉ちゃんは」と泣きだすのだった。
その頃、伴野は頭痛がしてグラスを割ってしまい、その音に気付いた灯里は弟の体調を不安に思う。
家に帰った鐘子は伴野からのメッセージで「あの指輪も僕からの言葉も全部忘れてほしい」と言われて、ショックを受ける。
葉子は「ほんとのこと言えばいいじゃない、私と違って自由の身なんだから」そう励まされる鐘子。
本当の幸せを手に入れて、そう姉に言われて鐘子は伴野のことを思い、やっぱり本気で伴野に向き合おうと決めるのだった。
翌日、灯里は一之瀬に会いに病院へ行っており、その後、難しい顔で病院から出ていくのだった。
鐘子は伴野にメッセージを打っており、何度も書き直しながら「嘘ついてたけど本当は独身なんだ」と書いていた。
直接言うべきか迷っていたが、そのメッセージを操作ミスで送ってしまう。
メッセージはすぐに既読がついたのだった。

いつ言うかいつ言うかと毎週気をもんでいましたが、やっと正直に言えましたね鐘子！
厳密に言えば正直ではなくウッカリの類なんですが、それでも一歩前進です。
既読がついたということは、読んだってことですよね？
鐘子が独身だと知った伴野がどう思うのか非常に気になるところですね……！
早く続きが見たいです！！
そしてそして、姉夫婦の仮面夫婦の原因が、完璧夫に思えた賢治にもあったと知ってショッキングでしたね。
とはいえ賢治のライフプランはそれほど間違っていないような気もしますが……誰しも結婚する時は色んな事情を考えますし、子供は何人欲しいとか、男の子がいいとか女の子が欲しいとか、そういうのはよくあるビジョンのような気もしますけど。
だから不倫するというのは、さすがに葉子は無理がある気がしますね。
なんとなく風太との不倫を正当化しているようにも感じました。
来週は葉子と賢治のきちんとした話し合いがなされるのでしょうか、こちらも非常に気になります。
