第16週～なつよ、恋の季節が来た～
東洋映画では”ヘンゼルとグレーテル”のストーリーについて坂場は「その考えは古い。」と井戸原や仲と意見が食い違っていた。
坂場はそれを聞いたなつにたしなめられると「（仲さんたちとは違うものを）一緒に作って欲しいんです。一生をかけても、あなたと作りたいんです。」と言う。
一方、駆け落ちをして東京に来ている夕美子は亜矢美の店で働いていた。夕美子は新宿でジャズ喫茶を開きたいと前島に相談する。
なつは夕美子のことをこっそり富士子に報告する。これを知った夕美子はなつに激怒するが、結局夕美子は高山と口論の末別れた。
なつは泰樹の歩く後ろ姿をヒントに、樹の怪物が歩くシーンの原画を描き上げる。
そうして”ヘンゼルとグレーテル”の魔女は亀山蘭子が声を入れ、完成した。
大沢は、アニメーターを辞め建築家の彼と結婚しイタリアに着いていくことを皆に報告した。
第17週これまでのあらすじ～なつよ、テレビ漫画の幕開けだ～
これまでのあらすじ
東洋動画では「鉄腕アトム」がヒットしたのを受け、新しくテレビ漫画を始めることになった。そこで抜擢されたのがなつ、三村、坂場。坂場はテレビ漫画の手法を「東洋動画らしくない」と難色を示すが、その中でも自分たちのやり方を見つけ意欲的に取り組む。
一方、雪次郎は初の主演舞台に抜擢される。これを亀山蘭子の贔屓だと疑った劇団員は脱退し新しい劇団を作り雪次郎を誘ったが雪次郎は「蘭子さんと共演することが夢だ。」と断った。
舞台が終わり蘭子に家に誘われた雪次郎は「好きです。」と気持ちを伝え・・・。

蘭子が出した答え
前回、蘭子の家に招かれて「好きです。」と伝えた雪次郎。劇団赤い星座を辞めた劇団員が作った新しい劇団に誘われていたことを明かす。そして、それを迷わず断った、自分の夢は蘭子と芝居をすること、新しい劇団は蘭子と作りたい、という気持ちを伝える。
すると、蘭子は突然笑い出す。
「今夜、あなたを呼んだのはダメ出しをするためよ。あなたの演技は最低だった。あなたの勘違いの言葉を散々聞かされた。気持ち悪いったらありゃしない。あなたとはもう何も一緒に出来ないわ。その虻田さんの所（劇団赤い星座を辞めた劇団員が作った新しい劇団）に行って。アマチュアはアマチュアらしくね。出て行って。」
と厳しく罵った。
雪次郎は何も言わず一礼し、家を出た。蘭子はその場で呆然とし座り込むと、一人寂しそうに歌い出した。その声は震えていた。
蘭子の真意は
雪次郎はうなだれ、亜矢美の店を訪れる。「酒をください。」
雪次郎は酒を飲むといつの間にかカウンターでそのまま寝ていて、起きたら朝だった。横にはなつがいた。
雪次郎はなつに、昨日の蘭子とのことを話す。雪次郎は、新しい劇団に誘われた時迷ったことを打ち明ける。「それが蘭子に見抜かれたのかもしれない。」と言う。そして、下手くそすぎて一緒に出来ないと言われたことを言う。
それを聞いていた亜矢美が出てくる。「それは嘘何じゃないかな。新しい劇団に行かせるためにさ。」
咲太郎も出てきてこれに同意する。「お前の力を認めてくれたんじゃないか？お前なら独立してもやっていけるって。」
なつは「わからない。自分と一緒にいると雪次郎くんが不幸になったって思ったってことでしょ。蘭子さんにとって生きることは舞台に立つことで、そのために誰も犠牲にしたくないって、本気でそう思って生きてるとしか思えない・・・。」と言った。
亜矢美と咲太郎の関係
亜矢美の店を出る雪次郎となつ。雪次郎は「もう一度、正直な気持ちを考えてみる。」と言う。
なつは「何があっても、私らはお互いを応援し合う仲間だからね。」と励ます。
雪次郎はため息を付いた後「俺気づいたんだけど、亜矢美さんは咲太郎さんのこと好きなんでないかい？男として。」と聞く。
なつは「え？何馬鹿なこと言ってんのさ。変なこと言わんでよ。」と驚く。雪次郎は「そうか・・・。」と言うと帰っていった。
なつは虚ろな目をしてため息をついた。
なつが正直に誰かに気持ちを伝える日は来るのだろうか。
「なつぞら」101話で判明したこと
・蘭子は雪次郎に新しい劇団に行かせるため、雪次郎を罵り「一緒に出来ない。」と言った。
・雪次郎は、亜矢美が咲太郎のことを男として好きなんじゃないか、となつに伝えた。
「なつぞら」101話の感想
しかし、
- 家に呼んで2人きりにした
- 覚悟はあるのか聞いた
このことを考えると蘭子も最初は雪次郎と一緒にやって行くことも考えていたのではないでしょうか。
しかし、雪次郎が新しい劇団に誘われていて迷っていたことを感じて、その覚悟がないことを読み取って泣く泣く雪次郎と別れることを決意したのではないでしょうか。
しかし、亜矢美が咲太郎のことを好き説は意外でした。今までその様な描写はなかったと思うので。
最後にナレーションで「なつが正直に誰かに気持ちを伝える日は来るのだろうか。」と言っていましたが、ここ数回なつと坂場の恋愛が進みそうなフラグが何回もたっていますね。
もうすぐ、なつと坂場の恋愛が発展すると思います。
