第16週～なつよ、恋の季節が来た～
東洋映画では”ヘンゼルとグレーテル”のストーリーについて坂場は「その考えは古い。」と井戸原や仲と意見が食い違っていた。
坂場はそれを聞いたなつにたしなめられると「（仲さんたちとは違うものを）一緒に作って欲しいんです。一生をかけても、あなたと作りたいんです。」と言う。
一方、駆け落ちをして東京に来ている夕美子は亜矢美の店で働いていた。夕美子は新宿でジャズ喫茶を開きたいと前島に相談する。
なつは夕美子のことをこっそり富士子に報告する。これを知った夕美子はなつに激怒するが、結局夕美子は高山と口論の末別れた。
なつは泰樹の歩く後ろ姿をヒントに、樹の怪物が歩くシーンの原画を描き上げる。
そうして”ヘンゼルとグレーテル”の魔女は亀山蘭子が声を入れ、完成した。
大沢は、アニメーターを辞め建築家の彼と結婚しイタリアに着いていくことを皆に報告した。
第17週これまでのあらすじ～なつよ、テレビ漫画の幕開けだ～
これまでのあらすじ
東洋動画では「鉄腕アトム」がヒットしたのを受け、新しくテレビ漫画を始めることになった。そこで抜擢されたのがなつ、三村、坂場。坂場はテレビ漫画の手法を「東洋動画らしくない」と難色を示すが、その中でも自分たちのやり方を見つけ意欲的に取り組む。
一方、雪次郎は初の主演舞台に抜擢される。これを亀山蘭子の贔屓だと疑った劇団員は脱退し新しい劇団を作り雪次郎を誘ったが雪次郎は「蘭子さんと共演することが夢だ。」と断った。
舞台が終わり蘭子に家に誘われた雪次郎は「好きです。」と気持ちを伝え・・・。

坂場の雪次郎への期待
雪次郎が主演をつとめた舞台を観たなつたちは楽屋に行き、雪次郎の演技を褒め称えた。
雪次郎たちは亜矢美の店で打ち上げをする。そこで坂場が一人口を開く。「蘭子さんの演技は確かにすごいと思いました。しかし、劇団としてはどうなんでしょうか。なにか新しいものを見出してやろうという意欲を全く感じることはできませんでした。」と物申す。
雪次郎は「あんたに何がわかるんだ！」と怒り出す。
坂場は「僕は雪次郎くんがそれを変えていくきっかけになればいいと思ったんです。雪次郎くんが劇団や蘭子さんを変えていけるような。」と説明する。
咲太郎は「なるほどな。ただの共演者で満足するなということか。」と納得する。
なつは坂場を「あなたは人の反感を買ってからでないとまともなことが言えないんですか？少しは気をつけてください。」と嗜める。
その様子を見ていた前島は「仲がいいのね。」と笑った。
なつの本音はどこにある？
打ち上げが終わり坂場たちと別れたなつと雪次郎。雪次郎は「突然なっちゃんといっきゅうさんは恋人同士でないの？」と聞く。
なつは「違うわ・・！」と焦る。
雪次郎は「いっきゅうさんはなっちゃんのこと好きだと思うけどね。」と言う。
なつは「あの人の気持はかわからない。そう思う時もあったけど・・・。一緒に生きられたらいいと思うけどね・・・。好きでも一緒に生きられないこともあるし、たとえ相手に好きになってもらえなくても、好きなことがおんなじなら一緒に生きれてることだってあるんでないかい？」と言う。
雪次郎は「そんな事考えてんのかなっちゃんは。なんか寂しいな・・・。もっと人に甘えたらいいべさ。好きなら好きって自分から言ったらいいべさ。」と悲しむ。
なつは「私が一番好きなのは仕事だから。結局、同士でいることが一番いいんだわ。」とため息をついた。
雪次郎の覚悟
雪次郎は最後の舞台を無事終えると、亀山蘭子に「今夜、家にいらっしゃい。2人だけでお祝いしましょう。」と誘われる。
なつが亜矢美の店に帰ると、事情を知ったレミ子が心配そうな顔をして言った。
「蘭子さんは恋愛も仲間も芸の肥やしにしか出来ない人よ。」そういう人に、今の雪次郎が溺れたら、役者として潰されてしまうことを恐れていた。
ジャケットに身を包み亀山蘭子の家を訪れる雪次郎。亀山蘭子は赤ワインをグラスに注ぎ雪次郎と乾杯をする。
雪次郎は椅子にも座らず「俺は蘭子さんが好きです。俺は迷ってなんかいません。蘭子さんをずっと好きでした。」
亀山蘭子は「からかってるの？こんなところに呼んじゃったから何か勘違いさせちゃったのかしら。」と少し笑いながら言う。
雪次郎は「これは、俺の勘違いですか？」と蘭子の目を見つめて言う。
亀山蘭子は「そういう覚悟をして、ここに来たわけ・・？」と真剣な目で言う。
雪次郎は「はい、来ました。」と答える。
亀山蘭子が「そう・・・。」と呟くと2人は見つめ合った。

・無事、雪次郎主演の舞台は終わった。
・なつとの関係を聞かれた坂場は”仕事仲間”と答えた。
・坂場への気持ちを聞かれたなつは「一緒に生きられたらいいと思うけどね。私が一番好きなのは仕事。同士でいることが一番。」と答えた。
・亀山蘭子に家に誘われ2人きりになった雪次郎は「好きです。」と伝えた。
「なつぞら」100話の感想
ついに坂場への気持ちを認めたなつ。しかし、なつは天陽との経験があるのか消極的です。
なつの
「たとえ相手に好きになってもらえなくても、好きなことがおんなじなら一緒に生きれてることだってあるんでないかい？」
っていう台詞、昔天陽に言われた「俺達はどこに行ってもキャンパスでつながってる。」という言葉と同じこと言ってますよね。
なつは天陽と両思いにも関わらず、恋人にならず同じ絵を好きなもの同士で終わってしまった経験から、坂場ともきっとそうなるんだろうと怖がっているのかもしれませんね。
しかし、そう何度も恋が実らないというのはドラマとして面白くありません。きっと今度こそ2人は結ばれるはずです。
