警視庁捜査一課の菊田和男（亀梨和也）は、第十係、姫川玲子（二階堂ふみ）が率いる通称“姫川班”への勤務を任命された。折しも、捜査一課は亀有北署に『水元公園内殺人・死体遺棄事件特別捜査本部』を立てていた。
捜査本部に向かった菊田は着任の挨拶をしようとするのだが、肝心の玲子の姿がないまま、捜査会議が始まってしまう。
管理官の橋爪俊介（岡田浩暉）とともに現れた係長、今泉俊介（山口馬木也）が事件の経緯を説明。水元公園の溜池付近で死体が発見される。被害者は金原太一という営業マンで、死因は出血性ショック死。
凶器は薄型の刃物で、被害者の体には無数の傷がつけられていた。しかし、多くの傷は死因とは無関係で、致命傷は喉元の頚動脈を切断されたことと推定されている。さらに、死後、みぞおちから股関節までを切開されていた。捜査官の質疑が始まる頃、ようやく玲子が姿を現す。
玲子は到着するなり、話があると会議を遮った。呆れる橋爪をよそに今泉が促すと玲子は自分の見解を話し始める。玲子は被害者が死後に腹を割かれたのは、池に沈めるためだと指摘。今回、沈めることが出来なかったのは、犯人側にトラブルが発生したためだと言う。
そして、この事件のひと月前に同公園の溜池にしか存在しない寄生アメーバに感染して死亡した男がいると告げた。そして、玲子はその池には腹部を割かれた別の犠牲者がいると言い切る。溜池を再捜索すると新たな死体が発見されて…。

遺体発見と姫川玲子の鋭い推理
捜査一課殺人犯10係主任の姫川玲子（二階堂ふみ）は27歳という若さで警部補に昇任。女というだけで周りからの風当たりはとても強いが、とても鋭い視点で自分の勘を頼りに捜査方向を決めていくタイプの刑事です。
事件発生。
水元公園内で青いビニールシートに包まれた遺体が発見されました。遺体には無数のガラス片が突き刺さっており、腹部には大きく切開された跡が見られました。
ここで姫川が突飛な推理を始めます。
この腹部切開は遺体処理のため。遺体を水に沈めても、腐敗ガスが溜まり遺体は風船のようにパンパンに膨れ上がり、どんなに重しをつけても浮かび上がってきてしまいます。しかし最初からその風船に穴を開けておけば、空気がたまることはありません。犯人は遺体が水面に上がってきて発見されることを防ぐために、最初から遺体の内臓に穴を開けていたのです。
姫川がこんな推理をしたのは、3週間前に深沢康之という男が水元公園内のため池に入り、寄生アメーバのウイルスに感染して死亡していたところに目をつけたからでした。その池は遊泳が禁止されているし、そう書かれなくてもそもそも誰も泳ごうとは思わないくらいに汚いのに、深沢は自ら池に入った。何らかの理由で水に入らなければならなかったからなのでは？
深沢は既に一人違う遺体をこの池の中に沈めているのではないか？そのために池の中に入ったのではないか？
そして遺体をここに運ぶ人物は深沢とは別にいて、その人物は深沢が死亡したことを知らずに遺体をここに放置するところまでしかしなかったので、今度の遺体は池に沈められることなく池のほとりに放置されたまま発見されてしまったのではないか？
姫川の推理に従って池を捜索してみると、予想通り一つの遺体が出てきました。
殺人ショー「ストロベリーナイト」
被害者の金原（池のほとりに放置されていた遺体）という男の会社の人間に聞き込みをすると、金原は毎月第2日曜日にどこかに必ず出かけていたということがわかりました。そして最近ではやけに仕事にやる気を出していたと。
さらに池の中から発見されたもう一人の被害者は、クリエイターの滑川幸男。会社の人に聞き込みをしてみると滑川は一度スランプに陥ったものの、最近ではまた水を得た魚のように仕事にやる気に満ち溢れ「いつ死んでもいい」とさえ周りに吹聴していたそう。
二人に接点はないものの、二人は共通して、毎月第二日曜日にどこかに出かけていたそう。
姫川班の若手刑事の大塚（重岡大毅）と、今回大塚とバディを組んでいる北見（坂東龍汰）は、滑川の学生時代の友人の田代という男に話を聞きに行きました。
北見は大塚よりも年下ですが、キャリア組で既に警部補。階級としては大塚より上、姫川と同じ。
田代から得られた情報は「ストロベリーナイト」というダークウェブでしか見られない殺人サイトの存在。妙にリアルな殺人の動画が公開されていて、
「あなたはこれを生で見たいですか？」
というメッセージが表示されます。
「はい」をクリックすると、殺人ショーの招待状が郵送されてくるという話。
そして、その殺人ショーは毎月第二日曜日に開催されているという噂。
殺人ショーの現場になったのは使われていないライブハウスやショーパブなどの可能性が高いと、姫川班のメンバーであたることに。
大塚の殉職
埼玉県の川から9体もの遺体が発見されました。ブルーシートに包まれていること、紐の結び方、切創、全てが姫川たちの追っている事件と酷似しています。
同一犯による連続殺人事件として埼玉県警との合同捜査となります。
北見と一緒に行動していた大塚は、1時間だけ別行動をしたいと北見に頼み込みます。それは違法捜査をするためでした。大塚は昔自分が逮捕した辰巳（猪征大）という情報屋に、「ストロベリーナイト」のことを調べてもらいたいと依頼しに行ったのです。
今回この事件が「ストロベリーナイト」という殺人ショーが関係しているというネタ拾ってきたのは大塚。姫川は「これは大塚の手柄よ」と大塚の仕事を認めてくれていました。姫川のことをとても尊敬している大塚は、なんとしてでもこのヤマを取りたいと意気込んでいたのです。姫川も大塚もノンキャリア組で、ノンキャリでも警部補にまで上り詰めて班が持てるのだと、大塚にとって姫川は夢を見させてくれる憧れの存在だったのです。
辰巳から情報を受け取った大塚は、何者かに電話で呼び出され使われていないライブハウスを訪れますが、そこで銃を向けられて…。
本部で大塚の帰りを心配して待っていた姫川たちには大塚の殉職が告げられます。
大塚は銃で頭を撃ち抜かれていましたが、信じられないことにそこから約3mもの距離を自力で這って出口まで向かい、ドアを少し開けたところで息絶えていたそうです。もし建物の中で大塚が死亡していたら、遺体の発見はもっともっと遅れていたことでしょう。大塚のデカ魂、執念です。
「ストロベリーナイト」の実行犯”エフ”とは？
大塚が辰巳から情報を得ていたことを知り、菊田が大塚の得た情報を辰巳から聞き出すと、大塚に「ストロベリーナイト」の情報を”噂”として教えた被害者の学生時代の友人の田代自信が、「ストロベリーナイト」の参加者だったということがわかりました。
田代も最初は何が何だか分からずに参加したものの、途中から客の中から一人のターゲットが選ばれ、ショーの見せしめとして殺されていることに気づきます。
自分が客席に行けた時の安堵感、優越感、これでもう1ヶ月は生きられるのだと言う高揚感から、「自分が生きている」ということを実感し、「ストロベリーナイト」への参加をやめられなくなってしまったのだそう。
さらに田代は、主催者側が「そろそろエフを呼んでこい」と話しているのを聞いたことがあり、菊田は関係者の中でイニシャルにFがつくのは溜池で寄生アメーバに感染して死亡した深沢康之かその妹の深沢由香里しかいないと思い立ちます。
菊田とガンテツは病院に行きますが、由香里は病院を抜け出し大騒ぎになっていました。
由香里が初めてこの病院に担ぎ込まれてきたとき、自分で自分の乳房を切り取って血だらけになっていたと言います。その理由は、由香里がずっと薬物中毒の父親（母親の再婚相手）に性的虐待を受けてきたことで、女としての象徴を消し去りたかったから。
由香里はずっと「自分は汚い。汚物だ」と繰り返し言っていたそう。
黒幕はまさかの北見（坂東龍汰）！
その頃姫川は北見と一緒に「ストロベリーナイト」の開催場となった可能性のある廃ビルを訪れていました。
しかしなんと本当の黒幕はその北見だったのです…！
姫川は北見に銃で腕を撃たれ、手錠で両手を拘束され大ピンチ！
さらにそこに由香里＝エフが現れます。
元々北見とエフの出会いは、北見の仲間がエフの慕っていた親友のマコという女の子を姦したあげく殺してしまったこと。北見は金で解決しようとしましたが、エフはその友達の首をスパッとカッターナイフで切って殺してしまったのでした。
その時噴水のように吹き出した血があまりに芸術的で綺麗に見えた北見は、エフの殺しの才能に惚れ込んでしまい「ストロベリーナイト」を計画し、共謀して殺人ショーを繰り返すようになったのです。
しかし二人の間には決定的な違いがありました。
北見は人の血を見て「自分が殺されていくコイツらとは違い、人の上に立つ人間なんだ」と再確認し生きていることを実感していました。（田代が言っていた理屈と同じで、「ストロベリーナイト」の客たちは北見と同じ感性だった）
エフは「自分が汚物だ」と思い込んでいたので、血を見ることによって「この人も自分も、同じ赤い血を流す同じ人間なんだ」と実感したかった。そうでもしないと自分が生きていることを確認できなかったのです。
北見とエフが仲間割れをしてもめている隙をついて、姫川が反撃。しかしやはり男の力には勝てず、姫川は床が抜けた部分に指の力だけでぶら下がっている状態になってしまいます。転落したら間違いなく死んでしまう高さ！
そんな姫川を最初に助けあげようとしたのはエフでした。（その後、現場に駆け付けた菊田も加勢し引っ張り上げる）
「マコ、助けに来たよ」
エフは失った親友のマコと姫川を同化しているようでした。
北見は逮捕され、ストロベリー事件は世間をにぎわす大事件として解決を迎えました。
姫川玲子はレイプされた過去を持つ
姫川は昔レイプ被害にあったことがありました。そのとき佐田という女性刑事がとても親身になってくれました。
しかし佐田は、犯人逮捕の際にもみ合いとなって犯人に刺し殺されてしまったのです。
この時姫川は、佐田のような刑事になることを決意しました。
刑事は殉職すると階級が二つ上がります。佐田は警部補となったため、姫川は自分も絶対に警部補になると、死んだ佐田に誓ったのでした。

・被害者は「ストロベリーナイト」と呼ばれる殺人ショーの参加者で、毎回見学する客の中から一人、被害者となる人物が選出されていた。
・真相に近づいた姫川班の若手刑事の大塚（重岡大毅）が何者かに銃で撃たれ殉職する。
・大塚の得た情報とは、大塚に「ストロベリーナイト」のことを教えた田代という男が本当は「ストロベリーナイト」の参加者だったということだった。
・「ストロベリーナイト」の首謀者は北見だった。実行犯はエフ（死体遺棄の係で池に入り規制アメーバで死亡した深澤康之の妹の深沢由香里）
・ 北見は人の死を見て自分が上にいることを実感し、F は人の家を見ることで自分と同じ人間なんだと実感したかった。
・菊田頑徹江口洋介井岡今野浩喜が助けに来てくれて、北見は逮捕姫川は無事だった。
・姫川は昔レイプ被害にあったことがあった。その時親身になってくれた女性刑事の佐田が犯人逮捕時に殉職したことで、自分も刑事になろうと決意した。
ドラマ「ストロベリーナイト・サーガ」1話の感想と予想
全員キャストが一新されたリメイクで、原作の設定とだいぶ年齢も違ったりしているので、設定変えてくるかな～？とは思っていたのですが、姫川班が今回の事件から召集されているという設定なんですね。そうすると必然的に姫川と菊田の関係も変わってくるような…？初対面ってことですもんね。
原作ではこの事件の時にすでに姫川と菊田の付き合いは長くて、すでにこの時菊田は姫川に思いを寄せていたし、姫川も菊田に絶大なる信頼を置いていたはず。
やっぱり「ストロベリーナイト」と言うと姫川と菊田の恋愛部分も気になるところなので、二人がこの事件で初対面ということになると、どの時点でどっちの方が先に恋愛対象として意識しはじめるかというところも見どころとなってきますよね。
一話だけでは菊田は姫川に対して何か感じているようなシーンは読み取れませんでした。姫川は何度か菊田に「あんたいい奴ね」とは言っていたので、それがちょっと布石のように感じます。
そして今回の主役といってもいい大塚！ジャニーズWESTの重岡大毅君、本人は結構おちゃらけたキャラですが、今回の役は姫川を慕う真面目で一生懸命な可愛い後輩って感じでとってもいい役でしたね。
今回限りでもう出番がないかと思うともったいないくらいです。
原作では姫川と大塚の間にもとってもいい絆があって、だから大塚が死亡したシーンは本当に泣けたし、その後もずっと姫川は大塚のことを忘れていないのでシリーズを通して大塚の名前は何度も出てきます。「原作、原作」と言っては申し訳ないですが、今回のこのドラマの作りだと二人の間にそこまでの師弟愛みたいなものは生まれていたのかな？と疑問です。大塚が姫川を慕っているのはしっかりと描かれていましたが。
そして「ストロベリーナイト」といえば、やはりずっとついて回るのが姫川の過去ですよね。姫川はこのトラウマにずっと苦しんでいくので、ここは丁寧に描きたいところ。佐田という女性刑事に励まされ、佐田が死亡し姫川が刑事になることを決意したくだり。最後の姫川の語りでさらっと説明されていたので、ここはかなり不満です。
竹内結子さん版のほうでは、佐田のことがもっと丁寧に描かれていたし、法廷で佐田のために姫川が声を荒げるシーンで、傍聴席にいた警察官たちが一斉に敬礼するシーンなんかは本当にゾクゾクと鳥肌が立ちました。ここは完全に竹内結子版の「ストロベリーナイト」の圧勝ですね。
やはりリメイク作品は前作と比較されることが多いし、元々竹内結子さんと西島秀俊さんの「ストロベリーナイト」が本当に人気作品だったのでハードルが高いとは思いますが、個人的には亀梨くんの菊田役に期待しています！
ストロベリーナイト事件はかなり凄惨な事件で、この姫川玲子シリーズの中でも後々まで語り継がれていくようなでかい事件でした。
確かに内容が衝撃的で黒幕も驚きなので、小説もどんどん読み進めてしまいましたし、竹内結子さんのスペシャルドラマも何気なく見始めたのにどんどん引き込まれた覚えがあります。
竹内結子さんの時も今回も2時間スペシャルのドラマだったと思うんですが、なぜか今回の方がダイジェスト版を見ているような気持ちになりました。
まず姫川が連続殺人だと気づくのがものすごく序盤で、「えっ！？もう！？」って感じ。主人公が超人的にIQが高いという設定のドラマにありがちなスピーディーさだなと思いました。（姫川はカンで捜査をしていくタイプですが特別IQが高いという設定ではない）
それにやはり姫川の過去だったり、姫川班の絆だったりを丁寧に描くことでこの物語は面白くなるので、そこをちょっと端折りすぎかな～という印象を受けました。
次のエピソードの「ソウルケイジ」は原作でも丁寧な心理描写が特徴となっているエピソードなので、忙しくあらすじだけを追うような演出にせずに、登場人物たちに感情移入できるように作り込んでもらいたいなと思います。原作ファンとしては！
